Mundine did not put boxing on the map (however i see your point GNR) but rather Jerry Springer trailer park talk. It's just not part of the Australian fabric.

I dont agree Mundine is 'playing' the villian at all he isnt smart enough. He genuinely believes the crap he sprouts. He has developed this ridiculous victim complex and tries to mimic Ali (himself an arse of a man), to promote himself. He thinks he is some sort of voice of the koori people yet most I know are embarrassed by him. He talks utter nonsense and has serious mental issues.

Geale made his own way without Mundine and won 2 belts in overseas venues.
Mundine by comparrison has fought bums and over the hill boxers in federations most serious boxers didnt really care about. When he did fight good fighters, Otke, Sciaca, Kessler, he lost well. Wood and Geale have now added an Aussie flavour to his loss column.

Its just like when they wouldn't pick him to play for Australia in League. He was better than Laurie Daly and he was better than Daniel Geale last night. Plus they are a pair of white boys anyway. for those who think mundine put boxing on the map in australia.. look at the above article and you'll see geale is taking australian boxers internationally.

GNR, I dont think of Axl Rose as the heart of GNR. To me, he is not GNR the band. No Slash, Duff, Steve etc. Yes he did put GNR on the map but its not the same anymore.
