I remember I had a private chat about a forum problem and I finished by saying "Geo, I'm not a Queenslander"
He said, if it looks like canetoad, sounds like a canetoad, and smells like a canetoad then it's a canetoad, no offence mate"
I said, "no offence taken ya cockroach"
Ever since then he's been having friendly little digs.
I still can't believe he's left us.

Very hard to come to terms with this today. Geo's communications came up daily in this part of my life. So terribly sad.

Sad to hear of Geo's passing and would like to offer my condolences to his Family and friends.
A passionate supporter of the Tigers and will be missed for his comments and banter on this site that we all spend plenty of time on.

Congratulations to the Forum "owners"/moderators for acknowledging and paying respects to GEO... Like many on here, I never met or saw GEO but somehow felt as if I knew a bit of him. I'm sure that's how many of us "Forumers" feel about one another...we may not know each other but we share a common bond and love of our Wests Tigers and this forum is where we can voice our opinions in a largely safe manner. RIP GEO, my condolences to his family and friends and well done and congratulations to the WT members Forum "owners and mods".

Just catching up on forum news and saw the announcement on Geo. I only knew him through the forum but I held him up as a person of great wisdom, humour and insight. He chose his words thoughtfully and was quick witted. Like many here, I’m really shocked with this news which is weird since I never knew him. Shows how much he was admired. I hope the family is coping and sending best wishes their way. Sleep peacefully Geo.

I've been struggling to comprehend the news when it was passed on to me because I've known Geoff for a very long time from when we were mods together on this forum. I cant begin to tell you how funny he was. Back in the day when we did Roar Cast, Geoff and I would would chat on the phone before for ages before anyone else got on and I lost count how many times he had me in stitches. He had a heart of gold and never said a bad word about anyone. His banter with Watto was just pure entertainment.

My sincere condolences to Ness and the kids. If there was anything Geoff loved more than the Wests Tigers it was family. They'll be hurting for a long long time.

RIP you old Silver Back! Im going to miss you 'ol Mate.

This is so very very sad. Like lots of you I also enjoyed reading GEO's comments he always made great contributions on our forum and from what those that knew him say he was a great man. God Bless GEO safe travels to the Tigers Supporters Seating in heaven. My deepest condolences to his family and friends including those on here. xox

Forum just seems a little bit emptier without Geo's quick-witted humour permeating through almost every thread - he will be sorely missed by this whole community.

What a legacy he leaves though on so many Wests Tigers fans for a long time to come.

So very deeply saddened to see this just as I came on.

The fact a thread simply entitled 'Geo' instantly drew me in is testament to how I personally cared about anything about him.

The number of people so saddened by this shows just how loved, respected and revered he was; 99% of us never even met the man yet through this medium alone he touched us all in such a positive way.

A true stalwart of WTF, I've had quite a few interactions with him and it will never be the same without him.

For those of us who have been around long enough to remember, I propose a simple, stylised, RIP Geo in the header akin to when TigerGran passed. I think he'd love that and wouldn't be one for anything ostentatious.

I'll really miss you Geo. 😢

My sincerest condolences to his family. 56 is so far too early to go. My heart hurts, I can't imagine how yours is.
