George rose

I wouldn't mind George Rose. He's a big lard, but he is playing great footy at the moment. He seems to have a good sense of humour and I'm sure he would be somebody the players would enjoy playing with.

Also, we could probably pick him up at a moderate price. Surely, though, somebody must be looking to sign him.

No thanks. He's past his best and you'd need to stick a fridge in front of his nose to get him moving with any decent speed.

Save the money for the youngsters.

2014 may be rough but we will be better for in 2015.

If we signed Rose which i think we should it gives us a very experienced prop , The other thing is we could move Gavet or Taupau to the 2nd row which would give us a bit of size in the 2nd Row.

Too slow, too fat and too old. Dare I say we should keep Blair, he is playing well at Prop, we also have Woods and Galloway and also the youngsters doing well.

Rose has himself come out and said that he doesn't want to play for the Tigers. That should be it, case closed. The fact the article made a couple of huge errors like Kite goes to show its just a moron trying to fill column space.

He would only ever come to us if no other club in Australia or England wanted him. We don't need him anyway. Move on journos..!

Exactly,in the the past when League players played for beer money there was no damage and nothing much to lose but times have changed. These days buying props at the end of their careers is bad business,it eats up valuable salary limits and rarely has a happy ending in an era of high wages..I know its easier said than done but its better to cast a wide net, young players can improve dramaticly with good coaching and confidence building, investing in 3,4 or more young up-and comers for the same money and hoping one of them makes First Grade is a lot better long term policy IMO.

Would be another dud buy..I have watched Rose play live a couple of times in NSW cup and he is not what we need..we have enough of those players.

Some if these responses are astonishing. He is currently playing better than most of our props. He also has a bit of a cult following.

For the right price he would be worth it.
