Good video. Such a protected species. What an absolutely thug/grub.

BJ Leilua would be wiped out for a season for doing those things. How do we band together and demand some action?

In the old days Blocker Roach would have got square on the grub.

Interesting that in an interview on mmm madge said they will be sending a please explain to the nrl for a number of desicions in the game

We will get a 'sorry about that, you got dudded'. Doesn't help us much after the game.
Corrupt organisation for sure.

And it’ll will gather dust in the NRL’s to do list

Told ya stern email..

Nothing will come of it and you know it.
Probably get one extra repeat set on tackle one for one game ..
Then it’ll be back to regular viewing .

Okay
ref bagging isnt usually what i normally resort to

but bloody hell

his hands are rubbing souths off all game

Can’t understand the penalties against Thomas lying in the ruck when every other game refs say it was milking...or the strip by Garner that was simultaneous with his call held..every other game it gets Called back for play the ball?

My brother mentioned to me 3years ago how the commentators started throwing about the term "Grand-stand finish" on a regular basis.
He saw it as an indication that the the out-come of a game was being manufactured, to make the "product" more exciting and better than ever...
So I paid attention to it and heard it so often that I stopped thinking he was a nut-job.
I believe the refs are under instruction, not to see a particular team win, but to manufacture a certain spectacle. We all know about balancing the ledger regarding penalties/repeat sets to make the stats look like it was an even contest. Although with this game it's like they didn't care.
They've tried their damndest at every opportunity to drag us down, but under-estimate the pride of two foundation clubs.
Think about all the recent talk of chopping a team and... HELLO... Wests Tigers kept popping up in conversation.
The Doggies cop a rough time... guess what, they're our neighbours.
Makes sense, they want us out.
But we have such a large area of recruitment, strong membership numbers and the financial backing that it's been harder than they thought....And sucked in to them!
Suck eggs NRL!
Even with our finals drought they can't break the Wests Tigers resolve.
We're gonna keep at it with our shoulders back, chest out and heads held high.
The tides of fortune will change to favour us, I truly believe this, and we can do oursleves a big favour by bringing the type of intensity and aggression plus adding some polish, to what we showed on Sat to every game, no matter who we play or where.

Anyone got V'Landys email?

The video also says plenty about the touch judge/s. We had no chance.

Mitchell gets charged with three offences and Sutton can’t find one penalty. We also miss out on a 8 point try. An 8 point try plus the converted penalty and Reynolds miracle field goal doesn’t happen.

Add a linesman who’s eyes were painted on a we stood no chance.

What a germ. Hopefully karma comes calling for this maggot like it did last season. His knee drop onto the back of Garner's legs was a definite dog act, he and Garner both knew that straight away.

I wonder what Garner said to him. Gave him a mouthful

Looked like he just grinned at him to acknowledge the dog act. Sad part of our sport now is if you lay down and pretend you've been hurt it's probably an 8-point try. Parra wouldn't be afraid to do that.

For all three incidents picked up post match to be missed by the ref, both touch judges and the bunker ref is pretty unbelievable and a bit sinister.

Every one of them should be stood down for next week and our club should be pushing hard for that.

I don't think any ref is deliberately biast or have an agenda, some are just easily influenced by home crowds, big name players and an underling leaning towards the teams expected to win. South's were whinging at the ref every bloody tackle.

Onto Latrell. He is an incredible player and pretty much saved the game for the bunnies. But so grubby. There were at least 10 unsportsman like incidents. Some small some big, but all dirty. Anyone notice him sliding into noffa with his knees after the intercept i think it was. Constantly grabbing the markers ankles in the play the ball. Right up there with Slater and Smith.

But wait there's more...no, not the steak knives...Latrell purposely hit Noffa with a forearm to his face and fair enough was penalised and put on report 'only' whereas Talau was sent to the bin for a minor indescretion at worst

lol what did @TheDaBoss do now? spending some serious time on the sidelines.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING AND WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG

Rival NRL clubs are privately unhappy about the recently-formed links between premiers Melbourne and the game's No.1 ranked referee Gerard Sutton.

The Storm employed Sutton's elder brother and former boss, ex-referees supremo Bernard Sutton, as a consultant in January.

I'm not suggesting for one minute that Gerard has a bias towards the Storm because of their association with his brother - the referee is straight as an arrow.

But there are rumblings about what impact this scenario could have, with Bernard having coached Gerard and having an intimate knowledge of all his habits and pet peeves on the field that could theoretically result in penalties.

The NRL themselves are concerned about optics of the link between the brothers. A couple of months ago during the State of Origin series, chief executive Andrew Abdo personally telephoned Bernard Sutton telling him to stand down from helping Queensland after game one, which was refereed by Gerard.

"Bernard trained his little brother and was his boss - he knows how he ticks as a referee and what he is likely to penalise and what he will let go," a rival coach told me.

"What if Gerard referees the grand final and the Storm win - as they did last year - and his brother is now on the coaching staff. We are not saying there is any bias but it is not a good look."

You don’t need to hire his older brother to know what he lets go. The cowboys took advantage of being offside and throwing forward passes on Saturday.
