Then buy a retro 2005 jersey ....don't you think this sort of thinking is causing more problemsI wear em for the retro style
Totally understand they are popular Demps , but if it was me I would never wear my Masterton jersey to a WTs gameI can only assume they just aren't aware and choose fashion over drama.

I have no affiliation w Balmain or Magpies but have both bc I like the jerseys but I get where you’re coming fromThen buy a retro 2005 jersey ....don't you think this sort of thinking is causing more problems
Or is fashion more important
I'm not trying to start an argument on the subject ....but shouldn't all fans be doing everything in their powers to stop the divide between all factions
Yeah, I hear you...Totally understand they are popular Demps , but if it was me I would never wear my Masterton jersey to a WTs game

No worries ....each to their ownYeah, I hear you...
Must be some demand though if they keep stocking them.
Perhaps it's that they saw their dad wear it.
Or maybe even they got it from an Op Shop and don't understand the history.
Either way, I'm going to disagree and say, I actually like seeing the old jerseys getting around.
It was a good post then and hasn't changed since100%. We are Wests Tigers. Have been so since 1999.
This whole thing is so tiresome.

The same old recycled bull 💩💩💩 again and again and again
It was a good post then and hasn't changed since
As a few have said on here its the retro fashion thing - have to admit the Wests Victa and the Balmain Phillips jerseys are pretty iconic jerseys. It does make me wonder when i see people in their 20s wearing them
Why?
I couldnt wear my 70s magpies jumper...impossible to get in itTotally understand they are popular Demps , but if it was me I would never wear my Masterton jersey to a WTs game
I couldnt wear my 70s magpies jumper...impossible to get in it
I got back in mine about 4 years ago ....maybe not now lolI couldnt wear my 70s magpies jumper...impossible to get in it
Id love to be able to wear a Maggie's jersey, but cant bring myself to do it given the politics. On the same hand, I also won't wear my balmain one either.I couldnt wear my 70s magpies jumper...impossible to get in it
More recently since taking majority control it hasn’t been “warfare (HBG vs Balmain)” it’s been internal HBG v HBGLooking back 15 years, While many NRL clubs have endured their fair share of public scandals, board warfare, and performance slumps over the years, virtually all of them eventually sorted their houses out through external intervention, board cleanouts, or structural reform. The Wests Tigers remain the glaring exception, standing as the only club with an unbroken, decade-plus saga of negative headlines.
Melbourne Storm2010 – 2012
Dual-contract salary cap fraud, Stripped titles (2007, 2009), played for 0 points in 2010, total governance overhaul.
Parramatta Eels2012 – 2018
Board factional warfare, systemic salary cap cheating, player arrests/off-field volume,Entire board stood down by NSW government, 12 competition points stripped.
Cronulla Sharks2013 – 2019
ASADA doping investigation, "The Bubbler" scandal, coach ban violations, TPA salary cap breach,Banned coach, suspended players, $750k salary cap fine.
Canterbury Bulldogs2011 – 2022
Spot-fixing trial (Ryan Tandy), "Mad Monday" media storm, public board coups (Dib vs. Anderson), $250k fine for Mad Monday, constant executive turnover, years of list mismanagement.
St. George Illawarra2019 – 2024
"Shellharbour BBQ" COVID breach, Jack de Belin legal saga, player/board disconnect, coach/star disputes,13 players suspended/fined, player walkouts, front-office protests from fans.
Wests Tigers2011 – Present
Factional board warfare (HBG vs Balmain), coach sackings, player leaks, 3 wooden spoons,13-year finals drought, permanent state of administrative crisis.
Note on the Wests Tigers timeline.
(2011–Present): The word "Present" will not go away from the Wests Tigers' crisis ledger unless the Holman Barnes Group (HBG) steps back or the underlying governance structure is fundamentally changed. As long as a closed social-club board retains ultimate structural control and the power to oust independent administrators, the club is structurally wired to regenerate the exact same cycle of negative news headlines.
Telling outright lies also says a lot about nasty, cancerous Magpie geriatrics like you.Name-calling tells me a lot about you and your supporters.
