Getting to Campbelltown Round 11

G'day guys,

I am thinking about heading to the match against the Cowboys in Campbelltown (round 11). I wanted to get on the beers and not drive. I have been thinking about the best way to do that, and thought about hiring a bus.

Is any one planning to head out there? I know that we don't know each other, and might be a bit weird to ask you to drive me, but I want to put it out there, to see if there are enough people going, who would consider chipping in for a bus charter. I have been on the phone to the bus company and it comes out quite cheap. about $25 a head return. That would be one or two stops, to the ground and then back after the match. I know that there is no real way of knowing where the best pick up point would be, but I was thinking a pub somewhere in the inner west..

The footy bus… Would anyone be interested to talk about it?

Cheers.

Geepub, welcome to the best forum in the world, the train would be the best as the Campbo stadium is just off Leumeah station,I travel from the Southern Highlands so its a fair way…I hope you get your bus organised...cheers mate...

Starting from where??

And how many peeps ya need?

Well there is a 20 person, a 33 person and 48 person bus available. It obviously gets a bit cheaper in the bigger bus. We are coming from the inner west, but I just had this vision, of going to a pub, getting on the gas, when the bus turns up, you get in, it drives you straight there, then at the end, coming out of the ground, straight on the bus and directly to the same pub or a different pub, but just avoid the whole PT thing.

Just thought to put it out on a forum, to see if there was an interest to do something like this…

Check with the club sometimes they run a bus, you could start at Wests Ashfield, tank up then land at Campbelltown.

Its not getting to the stadium thats an issue, its bloody getting out and over the railway line which is a pain. But i'd take that any day after a win. Smiles all the way for an hour jeering all the WT supporters to the car

I remember my good old times in Ctown, now i feel like an outcast in QLD hoping for the tigers to play more games here so i can go to them.

Love the west Tigers, why the hell move to that State, can't you see they are wayyyy behind NSW..apart from you it's full of wannabes, you only have to read the crap they come up with on the forum…but good luck to you and fly the Blues flag well...

Please don't reply back to me and tell me your convertered to being an out and out Qlder ...
