Gibbs with Benji and Beau on the Footy show

Thanks for that mate. I only caught the end of the show as the wife, child and I had been at The Easter Show all day [what a dissappointment NRL Day at The Show. Very ordinary effort by the NRL]

My 2c

I hate Vautin and the Ch9 footy show usually but I was glued last night.

The Interaction between The 3 tiger boys was great and a special mention to Beau who is simply outstanding on the panel.

Not excuses…facts.

The only 2 games they should have lost this year due to poor attitude and/or effort was the Dragons and Raiders games.

They could have quite easily beaten Manly, Souths and Broncs but execution let them down. This is what he was alluding to.

He may have also been having a slight dig at the fans who carry on like whining spoilt brats every time we lose. We all feel dissapointment and get on here to vent from time to time. But some are still laying the boot in 5/6 days after the last game. That is not what a fan does and you have to question their motives...

I prefer the Beau Ryan we saw last night. A bit of humor but came across as quite knowledgeable and passionate. Well played

Its not a 'real fans' debate as you so stupidly put it. It is more a damaging, motive driven argument. I noticed you on here talking crap less than an hour ago about Bryce Gibbs. I also noticed you shut up when Tiger99 offered some facts.

What diff does it make?
No, I dont watch that rubbish, however you related what was said, so i didnt need to watch…I just reply to you relating last nites show.

Please keep Gibbs discussion in the Gibbs thread eh?

I thought this was partly a Gibbs thread…appologise. The title mislead me....

Back on topic, it was great to see the boys together on the show. They were mucking around and giggling like best mates. Benji said he misses him and I'm sure Beau feels the same. However that is life and is a part of being a professional sportsman. I would be pretty cranky if his moving on has anything to do with our poor seasons start.

I put it down more to:
1) The loss of our structure due to Lui getting the sack
2) The poor form of our 2 gun centers
3) Whatever influence Folkes had on the team is gone
4) Ellis has only played half of our games.
5) Our execution and ball handling have been aweful in parts.
6) The fact that Groat had to play big minutes due to injuries. Sheens is not blameless here BTW (his benches have been very questionable).
 
I think the main factors in our poor start are the poor recruitment, losing four and recruiting only two forwards, the Lui/Moltzen dramas which I believe are linked…and Tedesco going down early with Sheens disrupting the halves instead of just replacing him with Meaney
There seems to be a real communication problem within the onfield squad, at times no one seems to know whats happening, its all very confusing at times....and then I see a fullback or centre at dummy half, the five eight at first reciever and the hooker at 2nd rec. and that imo explains why its confusing
We just need to go back to basics and start afresh.

win by 30 what planet are you on son we hardly ever beat penrith at penrith we cant beat time at the moment were shocking win by 30 listen lets just play well and win 30 oh boy haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Gibbs was shown the door for his off field behaviour and a poor attitude towards his punishments from the tigers.. Gibbs was on 350k a season contract at the tigers making him the highest paid forward at the club.
At the time i thought we were swapping him for a better version… and i still think we have... its just a slow process.

Moltzen actually left in reality. Liam was shoppe around an no one wanted him.

Beau an Highno were gone until some people spoke up.

I.e. everyone actually 'tried' to leave / did leave after the way they were treated. No different to Gibbs.

Some of you fellas are so shallow it's not funny. Gibbs is a local kid who loves the club. Just because he left doesn't mean people should start to make out he's Judas or something.He was effectively shown the door. He's still a Tiger at heart.
