i think buying a kicker would mess up our roster since very few kickers are wingers or forwards. they are predominantly halves.

i think we should give moses/simona more time, and get a god damn kicking coach

I think you need a special mindset as a goal kicker , I don't necessarily think a goal kicking coach is going to majorly help 50-60% kicker

Time will tell on JAC? He's gone, the club have confirmed it.

I'd rather not roll the dice on yet another rookie. I'd rather someone like David Mead. You know what you're going to get, is experienced and would be a good stop gap for a yr or two till we have more money to spend or a kid comes along in the lower grades.

I agree. There is no one in our backline close to 100 fg games.we desperately need experience.

Didn't we have the person last year and we chose not to re-sign him…....and I think he could kick a goal or two....hmmm

miles too small, terrible in contact and lazy off the ball.

Highlights package would be amazing (and probably is, ive never seen it) he does some great things, but between those things, not much.

Very similar to Malcolm Webster, who was an underage star and played some NSW cup with Norths.

If we want an outside back go to penrith, put all the names in a hat of the next half dozen options and raffle it, they are all good. Any of Jennings (x2), Edwards, Crichton, Blake, Naden (who is playing Massey cup) plus a couple of more if given a chance would do a job.

Not all will get a chance unfortunately.

He's the next big thing @ NQ, along with Ponga…
They have huge wraps on him / won't let him go.

You read my mind Love the Wests Tigers

You have to be able to trust in what you do no matter what

So if you miss 3 kicks in a row cause you hit them straight as a arrow when you usually have a JT hook you have to stick to the hook

Same as golf , I had clubs that I regularly would hit with a natural fade and clubs I hit with a natural draw and then some that were are useless as crap and would become he clubs I'd throw afew fairways away when I hit a bad shot with the reliable club :roll

8 iron waste of space for me

Halligan performed miracles with the player from roosters who kicked 6 from 6 against us.. Maybe an 'outside' coach is worth investing in for such a crucial role?

You would have to say it is hard attracting Cowboy players down South especially the big move to the big smoke of Sydney.

As a player why in the Cowboys system want to move when they are experiencing so much success and have some great players to learn off of.

Also a lot of their side will be retiring in the next couple of years creating opportunities.

I would love Lowe or their huge lock in our side but they are never going to move.

Next…...

Cowboys success will spiral once Thurston & a few other experienced players retire around the same time over the next 2 to 3 years.

Tamou has already signed with Panthers, Taumalolo may be the next cab off the rank seeing he is hot property.

The premiership window may close before these youngsters break into the side.
If chasing a premiership is a dream of theirs, they may considering re-locating.
