Why don't we give John grant he scored heaps of tries when he played union and his defense was good. He is the fastest player in the nrl and he is 105kg he would be a weapon

We need to get away from the idea that size and a 100m sprint time of 11secs will instantly translate into a game breaker in the NRL.

Think he has been injured. As others have said I don't think he is ready for NRL at this stage of his rugby league career. Give him some time in the NSW cup and I think he will make it.

The winger I am still waiting for is Marika Koberiete. Is there any update on his injury?

I do think we need to find a way to introduce some youth and speed into our team outwide, but John Grant isnt the answer…not yet anyway.

David Nofoaluma and Tim Simona are the 2 who should be looked at.

Going by your logic for a moment, why is Dane Chisholm being wasted in BRET? i mean, like you said why buy these guys if we're not going to use them. Where are poor ol' Chisholm's sympathizers? why does this arguement exclusively only count for Grant? Lets throw in Jack Spencer while we're at it

He's not ready yet. And in terms of defensive positioning in league, he has some work to do.

Mate my great great grandmother who was born with 2 left feet and is partially blind in one eye and blind in the other and has very very bad arthritis in both of her webbed hands and smokes like a chiminey could do better !!! God bless her heart and soul….. :wink:

I agree LaT. Can't understand all the Lote hate on here. His first 2 games back have been ok - at least he runs the ball with some guts. He hasn't played a lot of football in the past 12 months, give the guy a chance to get back to full fitness.

I'm not saying he can't/won't make it but it seems there's a concerted campaign to bring his name up as often as possible.
