2 out of the last 3 lib premiers resign due to ICAC, the other for family reasons (and a multi million dollar job). Party of the people.

Mmhmm,

Because Neville Wran, Morris Iemma, Ian McDonald, Eddie O'Beid were brave anti corruption fighters.

Whats Milton Orkopolous up to these days?

As if either side of politics, let alone State Politics has a high ground.

Government corrupts, it was the libs in the late 80's early 90's, then Labor after that, now the libs again. Extended periods in government seems to be the common factor

The most corrupt politician in Australian history was a NSW Liberal premier called Bob Askin which would be before most peoples time.He was that bad he makes every Premier since him look almost decent

Good old Robin Askin was definitely a piece of work, but Queensland had their very own in Joh Bjelke-Petersen . . . . . . . . . . ."don't you worry about that"

True and he had the "gerrymander" in place so he could stay in power. One city seat having up to 4x as many voters as his country party seats. Now Qld has Dutton Palmer and Hanson, something always reeks up there

Plus Happy.

Was it Bob Askin that uttered the famous "run over the bastards" in relation to Anti Vietnam War demonstrators when President LBJ was in Sydney?

Yes Askin admitted to it a couple of years later. He was an appalling man by any definition

Whichever way it goes it appears we will have a bible basher as Premier-Stokes or Perrottet -why do we end up with these types ? Both vote against assisted dying etc. At least Gladys achieved her position without deferring to the big Sky Pilot.

The influence of religion on the state (nation) is increasingly an issue and particularly so federally with further infiltration announced in the minutes prior to Gladys' resignation presser. The reach and huge imbalance of power in the hands of the Pentecostal branch is downright dangerous for mine.

The 2 most desperate ideas politicians grasp for under pressure are religion and patriotism.Whenever a politician starts to mention either i am concerned about what disaster we are getting into as a country

I was thinking about what Lee said regarding his and Justin’s lack of impact on team performance. I’m talking about Gladys replacing the CEO and the Chair.

Sounds like Perottet is a done deal.

If the MP is not sitting in parliament at the time corruption is proven, they get to keep their parliamentary pension I believe.

I thought Karyn Paluzzano lost hers didn't she?

Watching the presser he looked like a dog crapping razors blades.
