Goal kickers this year

I've only seen Moses kick a couple of goals in first grade . And I don't /didn't follow the 20's much .
Was Moses the first choice goal kicker while in the 20's ?

Richards would still be my first choice goal kicker while he's there .

There is no one better than Richards full stop , but Moses can strike a ball

i dont believe he was but most of the time that was because he was being shuffled from team to team all the time and occasionally (i believe) carried a lower leg injury.

He is an extremely handy back up kicker Hobbo

I know he goes ok with the boot , but I'd still prefer patty , especially in tight games .

Apparently Keefys an ace in the goal kicking dept

Tigers put a post on Instagram of teddy knocking one straight over the black dot from the sideline at training this morning

Massive difference knocking them over at training to when your knocked up after 75 minutes of the game and you have the pressure of kicking the goal to send a game to a 6 point margin , into golden point or getting the win

Then the goal posts seem to be 15 extra metres away and you have to knock it through a pin hole

I agree with Geo. Moses is better. Most disagree with this though.

Personally I have no faith in Richards as a goal kicker. I just feel he is overrated. Kicks some great goals but misses some easy ones. Much like Luke Covell who was a major let down when he had a pressure kick.

The way Moses strikes them straighter and flatter is a better platform to build more consistency which I think he will do in coming years.

I can only assume this post is publicity seeking. Richards strikes them as well as I have ever seen anyone in all my years of watching league. He missed a couple last year but everyone does. The comparison with Covell is laughable, although he was quite a reasonable kicker.
Moses is pretty good but he missed as many close ones in a few appearances last year as Pat did in two thirds of the season.

You lost me at "publicity seeking"

In a nutshell, trying to come up with something so outrageous that it attracts attention.

A different opinion to yours isn't necessarily an outrageous one.

It's a personal preference to like low straight kickers like Moses over high loopy kickers like Richards.

Richards has a massive boot, but I worry about how high he kicks with goal kicking. It's just my gut feeling that Moses would eat up kicking a goal from the sideline to win a game while Richards wouldn't.

Both strike the ball great, but I prefer the trajectory in which Moses kicks.

So your wrong about me looking for attention just cos I disagree with you

Pat Richards is one of the best goal kickers in the NRL. Jason Taylor was one of the best goal kickers in the NRL so I am sure he will know who can handle the task. Goal Kicking is the least of our worries.

It our brittle defence that is the major concern .

From what I remember, Moses was accurate but struggled to get any length or height on them- even from half range

Richards kicked at 85% last year and the ones he missed hit the post… nuff said

Moses looks like a decent goal kicker from what i've seen but he will only be 2nd choice as-long as Pats in the team.
