Goalkicker for next week

If Marshall is out (and even if not, if he has an injured right knee) who is next to goalkick? Farah? Mitch Brown took the drop-out, can he kick goals? Or bring Meaney in on the wing and to kick goals? Thoughts?

I dont mean to put down Benji and i dont want to sound negative cos im so proud of the boys last night and i know benjis kicking has won us games before but once again his kicking cost us the game last night. Benji lands just one of those goals and we win. I'd give it to Lote

Fifita kicks goals….hard from the bench I know but he has a 100% success rate for the Pies this Year...

Given that Daniela was also injured and left the field limping, I'd drop Brown back to the centres, bring Meaney in at fullback (sorry Balmain) and give the duties to him.

Good Idea… what about the UNDER 16 half back is he available ? Sironen doesn't even kick for his junior club or school plus he is obviously years away from being ready for 1st Grade.

curits sironen we most likely need a 5/8 - 1/2 back ( what have we got to lose)

I was thinking about this as well. A fairytale!!! A 17 yo, son of a great player enters first grade on the biggest stage. Sets up all the tries and kicks a conversion from the sideline to win the game for us.

Obviously, it wiill neva happen :frowning: its just a fairytale :frowning:

If Benji does play I don't think he will be kicking anyway so maybe Meaney will come into the side regardless.

How old is Curits? What age is the youngest player to play NRL? Look I think he has a great future and could be a regular by the time he is 19/20 but you could not risk him in this game. Funnier things have happened.

I think it would be a masterstroke by Sheens to name him as a smokescreen and let him do interviews all with his dad there. All the media all week would be all about the one player, letting the rest of the team get on with preparing away from the media glare
