J Day finishes 3rd in American Express
His tee to green was exceptional with birdie puts on almost every hole but his putter was stone cold in the 4th round
His 5 birdies involved a 2 ft ,3 ft ,5 ft 6 ft and a chip in !
He missed about 9 birdie putts in the 10ft to 24 ft range and 3 putted one hole from 16 ft
Fix his putting and he will win a few times this year
Poor guy only collected about 730 k for the event LOL

Watched J Day in the Farmers Insurance at the iconic Torrey Pines and same problem as when he finished 3rd at the American Express last week
Its his putter !
Tee to green he's top class but couldn't buy a putt
How's this in field of 156
He was 4th in strokes gained off the tee and about 130th in strokes gained putting
Hope he can fix it before the big signature event at Pebble Beach next week

Jason Day shot 64 today ( 8 under ) in the big PGA signature event
The Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill club and Lodge in Orlando Florida
This was the best 2nd round score by 2 shots
He's now in a tie for 4th and should tee off his 3rd round tomorrow paired with Rory McIlroy
Ps Jason won this event back in 2016 and is one of his 13 PGA titles
Adam Scott at 3 over is the only other Aussie to make the cut
Cam Davis and Min Woo Lee miss the cut which is 4 over
Great to finally see Jason play some golf similar to when he was World No 1
8 years ago

J Day tees off in penultimate group on 7 under right in the mix
Amazing he reunites with his former coach Colin Swatton and starts playing like he did when he was World no 1 ( 8 years ago )

J Day only 8 birdies as he misses a lot of makesble putts but only 3 bogeys in 54 holes at Augusta is some great performance he's clearly the best of the Aussies
Day T6 at -5
Lee T44 at +4
Cut was +2
So Scott +5 ,Smith + 5 ,Davis +9 All missed the cut by miles

I am potting both in the last group
the Canadian Corey conners seems like a good bloke, he looks a good chance

Jason Day very unhappy with his finish at the Masters as he bogeyed both his 71st and 72 nd holes of the tournament still that took his total bogeys from
3 to 5 and that's still 3 less than anyone else in the field
He finished T8 which is his 5th top 10 at the Masters incl a 2nd and a 3rd
He wins a nice $588k (usd) which isn't bad
His main problem is he misses too many putts incl a 4ft one in the 4th Rd
Only 2 Aussies to make the cut
Day (-5 ) T8
MinwooLee(+6) T49
Scott ,Smith and Davis all missed the cut
Davis has now missed 5 consecutive cuts
Day was a bit down on himself and don't think he should be
A lot better than the rest

Cam Davis started the year well then fell in a big slump with 5 consecutive missed cuts and has slightly rallied with a T20
Adam Scott played well but bombed last 2 holes bogey and double bogey
Min Woo and J Day missed the cut
Min woo too erratic lots of birdies lots of bogeys
J Day is back to health problems with a herniated disc in his neck which is not ideal for golf .Hope he gets it fixed in time for the $20 mill usd Memorial tournament starting 9 days from now
