Gordie would select Siro in Test match

On the Sterlo show tonight. Gordie said he would pick Sirro.

Im a big fan, despite the Naysayers on here, Im sure he will play some rep footy at some point, but calls for a test call up seem premature.

He also said it is obvious to everyone he will play a heap of tests, so get him now.

I heard the other week from a reasonable source there was a push for Siro in Origin as well.

I think he has finally hit form, he is great consistently now, I hope he makes it.

Absolutely, his versatility would compliment the Aussies/Blues squad. He's young, fast, strong and can ball play. We have a bright future with these kids.

Gordie is a deadbeat, take whatever that knuckle-dragging clown says with a big grain of salt. The media these days are quick on the trigger in pushing for players to play Origin, Tests etc after they have played only a handful of 1st grade games ie Grevsmuhl or whatever his name is from Souths. Sirro has been solid for WT without being outstanding IMO, I think he would get found wanting pretty quickly in Origin or Test footy at this early stage. Would love to see him bust the line open a few times for us, for his size he seems to be stopped pretty easy by opposing defences close to the tryline.

Sione and Klemmer can get a run, why not Curtis. Realistically though, maybe if injuries hit the blues, but another year of improvement would seem more appropriate.

I rate him but his last 2 games have been ordinary. He goes to sleep during parts of the game and isn't involved enough.

Potentially at that level but not there yet.

Has done nothing and does not deserve it.
Might have the build but his heart and brain are not there.

Or he could be one of those players that just look like they belong once you place them in a better team with better structures. Sirro running off of Thurston could be quite dangerous.

Personally i dont think he would be out of place but City first, ten State then Country.

Gordie was just trying to stir Farah methinks…

Sirro is a good player for the Tigs but a long way off rep footy.

Siro is not ready yet. In the second half on Sunday he looked tried and struggled to get back in the line.

bob fulton said about 2 years ago that sirro would play for australia

although he did also say it would be at 6, which even then sounded quite stupid…

lol no way.. he's good and a future start for sure but cordner, guerra, jackson and even the sims' imo- all in front of him.
