Albert Kelley scored a humdinger of a try tonight chanelling some of the games best chip and chase merchants such as Steve Mortimer, Phil Blake and Scotty Gale…bravo son that is old school rugby league

Yep - great to see, especially when done at speed! He weighed up the options well, and finished perfectly.

Full marks!

Bloody Brilliant piece of Football… His First Half last night was a great spectacle for Rugby League.

Will be interesting to see how Seizer plays now Kelly is gone...

I missed it got catch up on it on replays , What about Tony Williams one , he can't even run onto a ball hard enough let alone trying a chip and chase

I thought he broke his foot?

It was great, and he got a poor bounce too….it also highlites how bad a feel refs have for ''football''....pipsqueak whistle man with forgettable name immediately ruled no-try....it was clear he grabbed the ball and slid with it.

Great try alright and it makes you remember what makes RL great. The constant bombs in every game make you think about what is s#*t with RL currently…does Peter Wallace even know how to kick a football any other way? They need to change the bomb rule quick-smart, IMO any bomb that is caught by the opposition should be brought back to the 40m line for a tap restart, it needs to be weeded out of the game coz it is as boring as hell IMO.

I totally agree , i have always said to my mates that Try's of bomb should only be worth 2 points as they are a lottery play Something , Something the Dragons do all the time that's why they are boring as hell to watch.

The bomb has it's negatives and positives.

I just love to see players try things and bring back old-school rugby league. Way too many rules and regulations these days

The Bronco's are one of the main offenders. It is a p**s-weak tactic and is killing a lot of the individual skill and variety in our game. It is just boring, monotonous garbage.
I probably hate it even more so because we are the worst team in the comp when it comes to either executing or diffusing bombs.

Yeah that's it , just Bomb Utai's wing and 8 out of 10 times he will be outleapped .

The thing I really appreciated from that play by Kelly was that he backed himself and played what was in front of him. There is a school of thought that what he did could be seen as selfish as it is a low percentage play that could just as easily turn posession over. I disagree as the blokes who do this are thinking and reacting. They are being footballers. Benji gets a lot of strife for playing this way to the point that he is believing those that are trying to beat it out of him and has almost fully shelved this side of himself. I love when Benj has a crack and when it comes off I am on my chair roaring for him. He is in the side for one purpose…to wreck opposition defenses and create attacking play out of nothing. He isnt there to festidiously follow a game plan and be a robot. We have others in the team for this purpose. Benji is there to run, jump, step, swerve...bamboozal the opposition and setup his outside men. It seems a lot on here have turned on the bloke and as a supporter of his I am becoming the minority but what Kelly did last night is what Benji used to do and I just wish everyone would get out of his ear and let him resume it. We look far more dangerous when he plays like this.

Yeah I remember a young Braith Anasta was quite good at scoring tries like this when he first came onto the scene as well.
