Gould and the Tigers

there was alot of "thats benji for yah" style talking last night with the always repetitive "i'll tell yah the thing i dont like about the tigers game…" you just have to try ignore alot of his garbage. He loves big keithy galloway and KG had a blinder so im sure he was happy about that. I prefer Andrew Voss in the box, no politics and usually always happy with whatevers happening.
 
I think he's jealous of our side and our subsequent sucess after knocking back the chance to coach the Tiges because his asking price was too high, he used to really give it to Ricky Stuart and his sucess at the Roosters as well, a bitter bitter man.
 
Gould is like that with any team..
He'll continually say how he loves the tigers style of attacking play (especially on a sunday afternoon at leichhardt) but then he can easily turn on them. The problem is he harps on about one point for a good 20 minutes straight, and he'll keep harping on about that point periodically untill the end of the match.

You're probably right Geo, but last night he was a pain to us. He really loves us, with Benj and Sauce, but geez, pull your head in!

I swear he and Rabs commentary favour whoever they have got money riding on at the TAB.

The should have a Sterlo only button for commentary

Youre probably right, but Sterlo should not be allowed anywhere near the commentators box when Parra are playing. They could be getting hammered by 40 points and he still sings their praises.

i disagree. i reckon sterlo is the best commentator in the game after rabbs of course. he always has an unbias opinion and view on things and knows what his talking about. gus is a very smart man in terms of footy but in terms of commentating he always picks the wrong times to bring things up and never seems to stop talking about it. regardless of that phil gould loves us with a passion, in particular kiethy and marshall :smiley:
 
Gould is good mates with sheens, he always praises us. Love how we play the game and most of our players. The times he critisizes us he is usually 100% spot.

I'll be interested to see who Gould backs this week, he has always been a dragons fan but has a real love/hate relationship with Wayne Bennett.

Lol I think we must watch different Parra games. I'm always sitting there thinking he is a bit harsh on them at times.

Yeah I don't mind him when he's not pushing his agendas, and last night his criticism at the Tigers defence was warranted, 2 of those Raiders tries were very soft and should not have been scored.
 
Did anyone see that website that Ray Warren was advertising, about some 80% off thingy?? It's pathetic!!!

They should pick the correct time for adverts during the commercial break and not during the game!!

I dont think gould dislikes the tigers,i agree with fergieferr pretty much what he was saying about us was right, sure he goes on, but hey, thats tv, I mean cmon, hes not in the nathan hindmarsh league of tiger love.
 
gus gould reckons he invented rugby league and his bias and flipflopping in commentary on the 1 team is strongly linked to punting, i think everyone knows that.
