Grand Final weekend

Congratulations to Chris H. for your second Grand Final victory.

I was hoping he'd get a post match interview but it was never going to happen after 2005.

Looked like he brought his own microphone LOL

Yes he had his own GoPro for his own coverage

Just got interviewed and didn't drop a bomb! I'm pretty sure Gallen did though when they first interviewed him straight after the game. Did anyone else hear him say an 'F' or two?

Like a couple of others, sat down to watch without really caring who won, but soon found myself behind Cronulla…. A pretty good game all round imo.
Ennis got under a few Melbourne players skin, Malone hot and cold, Barba dangerous..Fifita very disciplined. Didn't realise Bird was such a flog

Who's turn is it next year?

Please tell me my eyes didn't deceive me ??

Storm go to set a scrum on one mark pointed by one ref and then the head ref then resets it without stopping the clock

Couple of bad calls either way on crucial decisions , the goal line drop out awarded to the Sharks on the 35th minute should of been a 22 tap 7 tackle set

And Bromwich was stripped by Fifita around the 72nd minute

Better team probably won , but refs screw up again

Time to take the Queerslander glasses off old son.
Melbourne were offside from the kickoff in the 2nd half.
Chambers' play the ball on the 50th or so minute was as bad as you will ever see. 45 degree angle AT LEAST.
Wasn't happy that Cronulla won but was super stoked that the Storm flogs got done.

Jordan McLean doesn't seem content with putting 1 bloke in a wheelchair for life, his lifting tackle again was hard to comprehend.

The least scumbag team won the game, just. Time to erase this abomination and get on with 2017.

Really the only reason I was supporting the Storm is Christian Welch is a Gladstone boy and played for the same school and club as my young fella

Rhino was one of my favourite WT's players

What did Bird do? He showed plenty of ticker to run it up with some strong carries after what looked like a fully hyperextended elbow, he won't be able to move it tomorrow that's for sure.
Feki, Bird, Lutuele and Holmes had plenty of strong carries.
Always good to see Cam and Bellamy on the losers end. Bellamy carried on like a sheila in the post match presso, was fantastic to watch
Good to see the Smith/Bellamy myth continue.

Good game better team won but nearly blew it…

Well done Sharks...

Glad that's over and both clubs fall off the face of the earth next season

Peptide cheats beat the Salary cap cheats

Was hard to watch that, just about got the MASH re runs out

It was a true origin game really with Melbourne aka Qld had what < 45% ball…. Defended like mofos and nearly in the end pull off a victory. On the other side was a team NSW that couldn't put the sword into and threw the guts of the opposition...... I see this 3 times a year every year for the past 12 or so years.

Great game of footy.
Both sides gave it everything.
Thoroughly enjoyed that.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching Storm lose. Luke Lewis was awesome. Feel happy for Heighno.
The Sharks deserved to win a premiership with blokes like ET, Rogers and Peachey. Not really with drug cheats like Gallen, blokes that oversaw the whole cheating disgrace like Flanagan, vermin like Fifita and wife beaters like Barba. Hard to feel much joy there TBH apart from Storm losing.

Watching the game tonight made me admire what good coaches get out of their players. Matt Prior was great tonight, he got into Jesse Bromwich's face all night and smashed him a few times. He made his runs and for a player i never really rated he impressed me a lot. Same for Jordan Maclean, troubled the sharks forwards with his size and footwork. They have been given roles by there coaches and for me have gone above and beyond. I understand it helps have great players around them but the structure these coaches have in place allows for good players to look like great players.

Now i hate the guy but the difference with Adam Blair from when he was at the Storm and was killing it to when he came to the Tigers and struggled big time and now that he is with the Broncos he is back to his old form. Common denominator is quality coaches.

My kids and i were supporting the sharkis surprisingly. Tje hatred for c smith the qld cheat got us across that line and then he goes and gives that gracious speech.

Lucky they went to bed and will wake up hating him still.

That is quality!

His "gracious speech" was pretty much a PR exercise to stem the flow of hatred towards the maggot. Ennis got over the top of him and a few kind words were the best thing he could offer up, Cammy Myth didn't live up to the hype tonight.

Doesn't seem to be much…. I noticed the strip too.... Ref's are never perfect
If that's all there is then they had a good game
