From what I know of Wests Tigers the previous admins ran it like a holiday resort with a laid back attitude. More fun holiday camp than multi million dollar business.

Robyn Danzey was one of the staff, she has been with the club for yrs and almost singlehandedly run game days, members events and office admin on her own and on a small paycheck. She aint a bludger but couldnt cop being belittled and abused by a bloke that has been punted from manly, dogs and GWS and now runs our club.

Maybe that's why he was hired. Maybe that's what is needed at the moment. Might not be what is needed in the future but at this point in time…..

You're getting one side of the story, these people might have been sacked for good reason, who knows what is going on behind the scenes, so don't go saying Mayer needs to be sacked because he is sacking people and being a boss

Time to run the joint in a professional manner… The old ground announcer was so amateurish he couldn't pronounce half the names of the players who play for the club he worked for... He should not have quit... He should've been sacked

Thanks Smeg. Helpful perspective. I am glad we are trying to move from being a holiday camp.

From a business perspective a turn around CEO often runs a place for two to three years. At that point a more stable leader is often required. No always as it depends, but often.

I still think Mayer will leave us in a better place than when he got us.
