Ground Hog Day

In our lead up to the Chooks game, the Roosters fans were booing their players and calling for Smith to be axed as coach after they lost 4 games in a row. Roosters were the most talked about side in the media in the lead up to our game and they came out and smashed us at Leichhardt.

In the lead up to our game with the Knights, Newcastle dominated the media with Bennett apparently having one on one sessions with all his players and telling them they were all on notice and were now playing for their future at the club. They came out and smashed us.

In the lead up to the Bulldogs game, there was plenty of talk in the media about Barba being including in QLD team. He didn't make the side but he had a point to prove and as we all know he did just that.

This week we play against Panthers and unless you live under a rock, you would have heard every section of the media is beating up the Luke Lewis story and the massive turmoil in the Penrith club. Is this Grounghog Day again??

Lets hope we don't get out-muscled and pushed over once again by another side with a point to prove and a greater desire to run the football harder, chase all kicks, make tackles and find the try line. Our Groundhog Day pattern has to end this Saturday. No more excuses. We need to find our own passion, aggression, motivation and reasons to win and start our charge to the finals, because if we can't beat lower ranked sides like Roosters, Knights and Panthers, then we won't be any threat in 2012.

C'Mon Tiges. Fire up for Saturday night and lets get our season back on track!

meh, who cares?
Bring it on.
Do we want a cushy ride into the semis?
They are spooners and we should smash them, if we cant then we deserve to be nowhere near the finals

Agreed , time for the WT to put in a 17 man performance and put on a decent margin win against them

If we can't beat a weak team that plays well then what will happen when we play a strong team that plays well????

Shouldn't our coach be preparing our team for what's in store for them? Being unprepared is no excuse.
