The media would be all over them if they paid out two coaches in the one year. Having a $250k bloke doing the stats would only save face. They would only be fooling themselves, and maybe you by the sound of it.
 
Disgraceful if this is true. This is exactly why i've wanted an impartial and coherent board. Not full of ex-players and weathermen. I thought we'd turned a corner in recent months, but it seems we are back to bloody square one. I can't see a legitimate reason for this to happen, "fallen out with the playing group." What crap is that.

Very much doubting i'll be handing over any money for the club next year anymore, was pretty excited about 2014 going and seeing a tonne of games but not anymore. We better have signed bloody Bellamy if this is true.

Clearly we are talking about him not being head coach next year. Would you pay him out or find another position for him? Didnt you read the statement the club put out today? The one they put out directly due to media speculation.
 
If he's fallen out with the playing group that would be twice in two years the playing group is to blame - what does that tell you?

We must have the most precious playing group in the NRL if that is the case.

Maybe I read a different statement to you, because I can't find the part where he was officially sacked.

But I'll play along with your hypothetical, if he wasn't to be head coach next year there I'd pay him out. Can't see the sense in paying him to do another role just to avoid a payout.
 
I wouldn't be so quick to shoot him down. Often peoples opinions on these things are skewed by their opinion on the person who is delivering the ''info''

Exactly my point. But it's what they wanted Sheens to do last year and going by that ridiculous statement put out it seems to me that they are thinking of doing it with Potter. The only reason I can see a club doing that is to save face with the media .And if you dont think they are reactionary to the media then you only need to look at the statement released today.

How on earth could that be possible?! Has the concept of humility vanished entirely? Welcome to the age of entitlement. No head down, focus on my own piss poor effort, and doing the hard yards. Just deflect away and collect your pay. Thank god for the youth coming through cause the rot seems to have ripped through this team the last few years. Even Farah should cop it sweet cause its been downhill since his brain snap in the semi against the warriors.

No wonder Sheens is collecting every cent. No reason Potter shouldn't feel he should do the same.

Yeah …. And you thought once they got rid of Sheens, all our problems were solved. You don't know your own Board of Directors very well. I said after the Gold Coast match last week he wouldn't last ........
 
We the fans need to stand up and keep our money in our pockets. It's the only way guys we can have our say.Like I've said before I cannot wait till they contact me in regards to next years membership. It's the moment I will have my say!
