Halatau is a stayer

He epitomizes our spirit - he is with us through thick and thin - his team mates love him

**His body just can't keep up with his soul and spirit**

Beautiful person and braveheart -

If you can't see that - that's okay - a loss is a dagger in the heart - sometimes your best is not good enough - i hear your anguish

But trust me - he would never intentionally let us down

Feel what you may.

My all time favourite Tiger, but is playing like old Yeller this yr. He's literally limping over the finish line that is the end of his career. Sad.

What a load of tripe :unamused:

Mate when you get beaten you turn and chase hard

I can't remember how many times I've seen him beaten and he literally jogs back , no urgency , doesn't care obviously , no respect for the jersey

I just can't cop that , isn't acceptable from a bloke who is there to provide leadership , what does watching him in the video sessions do for the young inexperienced players ??

I'll tell you , more bad examples and another generation of lazy , heartless footballers

Wish he stop impersonating a footballer , retire , show some class

have to agree Happy - especially about the class - but they need money just like you and me

He's good unless he has to play more than 20 minutes.
Definitely agree with Happy. He needs to retire and stop taking the place of a younger, hungrier player. He'd never get a run at ANY other NRL club including the Knights. Thanks for all you've done, now it's time to take a voluntary redundancy mate

I reckon he is going fine. He hits in defence and can make solid hit-ups plus he can slot into dummy half.

Steve , your kidding right

He's a back rower who doesn't dint the line doesn't make dominant tackles , rarely if ever makes one on one tackles and is thirty odd years old and gets lazy in defence and doesn't chase

And that's acceptable ??

So obviously you don't place the same standards on some that you openly criticize as others

Would that be a fair assessment ??

And gave away that stupid penalty that put the final nail in our coffin against the roosters.. And has done the same thing many times before in similar situations. What's the use of paying the price for "experience" and when the crunch comes…continually cost us

Yeah totally inexcusable, any small chance we still had of winning that game evaporated right there. A game changer in the wrong repect.

I completely disagree. He hits the ball up out wide at pace. He also tackles hard. I saw him make plenty of tackles on the weekend.

Who do I openly criticise too harshly compared to Halatau ?

I think your fair assessment is completely incorrect.

This is what JT is starting ahead of the NSW origin hooker

It is sad Happy but true, he was a great player for us, especially in 2005, his crowning glory the GF qualifier verse saints, but sadly father time has caught up, and he is not the answer at hooker, and his backrow days are past their use by date.

He's gone a season too long, and it makes me sad.
Dominated in both attack and defence, work rate has really dropped off too.

Agree. He's a top bloke, I've met him a couple of times and he's very down to earth and well mannered but I don't think he should be in our top 17 at the moment.
