Halves coach?

Brooks has turned into a runner, with no kicking game, no organisational skills and no ability to set up outside runners.

He has basically turned into an undersized forward

As has David Nofoaluma, anyway weren't the forum always crying out for Brooks to take the line on?

It's hard to judge Brooks when he's only been back for a fortnight, his starting back rowers are out injured, he's had one centre banned for match fixing, his replacement blew out an ACL and his 5/8th had a tantrum and went to Parramatta. Apart from Tui, who Brooks has barely trained with, Brooks is pretty well out of passing options. Might as well hit it up for 80 minutes.

The kicking is causing me some concern though.

I agree.

RE. his short kicking game, wish he'd try his old cross kicks to mix it up a little, i.e. facing one way, kicking the other with Teddy steaming onto it, like they used to. At least this would keep the defence in 2 minds & maybe take some pressure off him.
