Hang your heads in shame

If we had Hasler or Bellamy we wouldn't go on this roller coaster. We have to accept life with Tim Sheens. This is part of the deal.

Part of the deal of being a Balmain / Wests/ Wests Tigers . Seen the same for nigh on 53 years. Some days are diamonds some days are stone. Ive always enjoyed the ride

Only a mad man would enjoy this ride. My cardiologist wants my wife to record the games we win to keep my blood pressure down.

I defended them last week but tonight they were a word I'd thought I wouldn't have to use to describe them again this year - soft.

Thank god for the bye, I can save my bp this weekend

i am truly lost for word . Alot of the wins we had when we won 7 in a row were lucky wins . So put it in perspective potentially we can be a great side , realistically we are a long way off at the moment. The only positive we have Ellis,Fulton,Sironen to come back and alot of hope .

Well done Alf, nice to see some perspective.

Are tigers fans less worthy because they can't take a bad loss? No. Is it a sign of their complete lack of foresight and reflective skills? Absolutely. Nonetheless, being a rugby league supporter doesn't come with requirements (except that you buy merchandise and go to a game once and a while- or at least fork out for a foxtel subscription).

What a terible painful loss. Honestly, if you were a coach would there be a better time for a wake-up call like this than round 16 with a bye to come? I swear Sheens plans these midseason slumps only for the side to suddenly catch on fire at the end of the season. Will it happen again? Who knows? Can we bank on irate fans on here all of sudden blindly gushing with praise for the same players they ask to be dropped this week? Inevitable. Is the solution dropping lote, cash, heigno, Blake? You are kidding.

I know fans will be filled with **vitriolic hyperbole** but I just hope that nobody pays attention.

is this citizen tiger in disguise?

nope.

I have had to stop watching games live - my marriage was suffering from the language i was throwing at the TV - i now have forced myself to tape every game and fast forward to see what happens - if we win i sit and watch the whole game - if we lose badly like tonight i erase it and spend my time doing something constructive rather than fuming and taking out my anger on the family - its not a perfect setup but its working well - my anger is contained to 1 minute of extremely fast forwarding - my wife is happy because lately the football is only on for 5 minutes ofe extremely fast forward - my marriage has improved and the kids are all happy because they get to watch more cartoons - as a long time wests magpies and now tigers supporter i would recommend this style of watching games to anyone whose nerves are frayed, whose marriage is slipping, who are swearing, jumping around and punching the air in anger - i intend watching all football games this way from now on - its so much easier and gives me more time to devote to things that really matter.

Yes watching the game recorded is much better. You can fast forward the rubbish. Thank God for Foxtel.

Spot on. But that's our right. If we weren't gutted, and upset by this then what type of fans would we be? Do I want changes to the team? Yes, right now I'm pencilling Hassan Saleh for a comeback on Lotes wing after the bye. But this time next game after Lote scores 5 tries I'll be on the bandwagon to re sign him. It's the life of a fan who bleeds black gold and white. I love this team, I love that our teams merged instead of Paramatta and my Tigers. We were the ugly ducklings of the NRL and no one wanted us in. So we went and won a bloody premiership instead, not just a premiership but the most relevant and exciting premiership in a long time. We as fans have been through hell watching our respective teams basically held to ransom to merge whilst teams like Melbourne cheapen the comp with their tainted cheating ways. Proud Balmain and Western Suburbs teams were destroyed to accommodate the Storm, Gold Coast, etc and we have a reason to be so much more passionate than other fans for this reason. I get crushed over performances like tonight, but yes I will be back in two weeks, cheering on the same players I'm ragging on tonight. Let us vent whilst we are still pi$$ed off enough to give a damn.

Wow you are identical to me hahahaha!!!!! every word hahahah!!!!! . I don't tape and fast forward though that's the only bit . Put it this way i have Austar at home same as Foxtel and the Wife suggested i go up to the local pub and watch the game in peace so the kids don't bother me hahaha , i know what shes getting at , so of i went and 5 schooners later i was home and not as upset as if i was to watch it at home cause every little thing would of pissed me off if i was at home. hahaha to funny.

The same hahaha . i must say my Wife is a legend . We were together 7 years before we got married , so she certainly knew what she was in for . Is that true love ????? hahahahahahaha!!!!!!!

you don't have to hit rock bottom EVERYTIME to peak. it's ridiculous how often the team goes into form slumps. they just go missing in defense absolutely mmissing.

Yes, being a tigers fan is like that point in time when you lean back on a chair too far and are about to fall backwards, only to catch yourself at the last second. That feeling lasts on average for 80 minutes per week for the average Tigers fan.
