**Had the weirdest Xmas morning incident I reckon I'll ever have**
Hope everyone had a great day with family and friends

Now come on Happy, we have been sitting on the edge of our chairs for about 22 hours now - spill the beans

Alright about 2.15 Xmas morning literally as we finish putting all the kids prezzies under the tree we get a knock on the front door

Thinking the worst as you do , the Mrs and I just looked at each other

Instead of the police bringing bad news , so drunk as a skunk woman has shown up

She is lost after having a massive fight with her sister and stormed out of her sisters place

She was that drunk she couldn't remember her sisters married name

No idea what suburb her sister lived and the street name she gave didn't exist in Gladstone

She was adamant she wanted a cab called so we called one , he arrived and refused to take her due to no address

I decided that I would look up her sisters maiden name and presto it is still listed

So it's only a few hundred metres away and she says she will walk

She gets to the end of the driveway and a cop car shows up

She started to get angry thinking we had called the cops and comes running back towards the house

Turns out the cabbie had rung up concerned she might of been trying something on

I gave the police the address I had gotten and I'm assuming they took her back to her sisters place

One normal day would be nice , just one 😛ray:

, yep that sounds like redneck area

Yeah might be time to move , a guy who committed a heinous murder was living maybe a hundred metres from where the girls sister lived and up our end of the street a drug house was found 😱pen_mouth:

forty years ago I had an insane woman visit my home (not far from LIdcombe oval) about midnight, she had escaped from the mental home near Tigers club, saying she was going to meet her children at my house, she had bought presents for them.

Initially from her weird grunts I thought it was a guy who had been whacked by a car. I rushed out in the dark to help him and looked up - they were the biggest craziest eyes I had ever seen, she was a monster with her arm out ready to whack me. I screamed turned around and ran and locked the door. Eventually we got her inside gave her tea and biscuits, the ambulance sent the cops who were cruel to her to which my psychiatric-trained nurse missus protested. Poor thing.

My one concern the whole time was a second person

I wasn't worried for myself , I'm big enough and ugly enough too look after myself

My wife and kids aren't though

She was nice enough , bit loud but never swore or got angry despite everything bar the cops thing

How's this … About 2pm this arvo while waiting for the mrs and kids to get ready ( to go visit my brother )
The front screen door opened , so I got off the couch , walked round the corner and standing in my entrance was an old bloke ( looked about 80)
He put an esky on the floor and a bag of christmas presents on the floor , said G'day and went to shake my hand ..
It took me a few seconds to realise I didn't know this geezer lol
I said who the hell are you ??
He said its me Glen !
I said i think you've got the wrong house number
.... I said this is 74 , he said I thought this was 71!
I said nah mate , but you can leave the grog if you like
What blew me away was he didn't even knock .. Just walked in !
I guess shit happens when you get old lol
