Absolutely, if we can’t get him for 2021 then go all out for 2022. He’d be welcome back with open arms. I feel like this year it’s Wests Tigers 2003, next year building like 2004, 2022 a real premiership threat with Harry back.

The best thing that will happen is when he does go back to Melb and plays very well,everybody can say he developed and became an NRL hooker and sensation while at the mighty Wests Tigers and under the coaching of Madge McGuire...

You reckon. I think it will be more like he has gone to a whole new level under Bellamy. Maguire was obviously too hard on the kid. We have seen exactly the same with Tedesco. He was a star at WT - just didn't have a star team around him.

mate according to some every player has a rating higher than 1 on the plodder scale.....

I posted before he played for us he would be our best player. The kid has class written all over him and showed it as a junior. The kid we have Simpkin is a better prospect at the same age.
Liddle and Simpkin will work but Simpkin will take over by the end of next year.

Harry is a massive loss but we have the right plan to replace him. Everything Madge does is to a plan. It wouldn’t surprise me in 2022-23 almost all our players got their real start with the Tigers.

C Smith would be stupid to continue to play on with Cronk and Slater no longer around and his age. Has done everything in the game so only harming his legacy. Harry Grant is a generational player and would get first crack at hooker. B Smith is the perfect bench player as he covers all forward positions and brings on so much energy. Funicanne must be at the end of his career. B Smith would make a great ball playing lock.
