Liddle/Simpkin are worth a go in 2021. We might be able to get Grant back for 2022 if they don't work out.

I want to know who Harry Grant's manager is. He's screwed himself and Harry over. Harry Grant could be a marquee player, but instead he's locked him into chum money for the next 3 years (until the end of 2022).

Yeah terrible deal - you’d think though in order to keep him happy and with all the money they’re expected to receive with several high profile players expected to leave or already have left they’d give him a hefty salary upgrade

In reality it was always a loan deal which suited both clubs.
Bonus is that we still have a good promising player for this season that will still give 110% each week and sets a standard for all.
Our Signed hookers should be learning as much as possible, Liddle worries me injury prone but worth another chance.
All reports from Simpkin's are at only 18 best prospect from QLD in a few years and another 2 years on his contract, learn as much off Grant while you can now.

I'm happy to pay him the $$$. The reason I proposed the captaincy is because I don't rate Mbye as one, and as it stands, he'll be our captain next year. I also thought it might be another factor to entice HG to stay.

I'm also desperate to keep a quality player like Harry here.

Tbh, the amount of games played should not dictate whether or not you're captain. Your leadership qualities, influence on the field, and passion should be more of a focus than how many games you've played.
