Nothing has changed regarding the conditions of our loan agreement. Harry ceased to be a Tiger come full time of the slimey game. That's why the club had him on the farewell list.

His contract lies with the Storms, and as we all know, there's a get out clause if Smith plays on.

The club has to play this one straight because we have a solid relationship with Da Storms, and acting in bad faith would jeopardise any future dealings(not only with them but across the leeege).

Still it’s a good sign for prospective recruits that loan player has enjoyed his season so much with a battling club that he is unlikely to play second Fiddle at a premiership contending club.

I think that was exactly the message. Looks like Smith is going to defer any decision to retire or play on til after his team finishes their season. If they win another title, I reckon he retires. If not, I think he plays on. As I can't see them beating either the Chooks, Panthers or Bunnies he'll have to go round again to end on a winning note and Harry may then be available. Given how well he's gone with us we'd have to have the inside running to sign him.

Best thing about Harry doing so well here is it can squash the comments that good players don’t do well here. He was made into family even though everyone knew it was just a loan and played brilliantly, other players notice that kind of stuff. He’s perfect for a coach like Madge too was always going to thrive with the attitude he has
