Harry Grant

Typing this in the fetal position......

Surely Melb watched that tonight and thought 'we need to do everything we can to get Billy Walters back'

*weeps...

Melbourne's spine for next year Paps, Munster Grant Hughes - another dynasty.

It will probably only be for 1 year because when Bellamy goes at the end of 2021 i cant see them staying there for long

I don’t see Bellamy leaving Melbourne. When he’s done as a head coach, I see him going into a coaching director’s role. Melbourne aren’t a club like us who would be clueless in handling the end of his tenure. Melbourne will transition him.

It’s funny people compare him to Liddle. One of them is ours, contracted to us, the other was on LOAN. Time to understand he is gone, the loan is over.

Spot on. Next coach will be Jason Ryles or Eric Smith.

Big congrats to Harry on a fine display tonight...great guy, great footballer, great person and a huge credit to his mum and dad..
I would also like to say that although Harry did awesome tonight,I would like to give some credit to Madge and the coaching staff at the WTs for helping Harry develop into the top grade player he is becoming...

Jason Ryles has gone to English Rugby.

No, sorry. Tigers can’t take the credit for Grant. He was always that great, he just got his chance with us to showcase it.

Absolutely. A rookie strolled into our squad and was immediately our best player. It says a lot about him, and a lot about us.

100%. He’s a complete pro and we were fortunate to have him play for us.

Munster coming back made QLD penetrating again. He’s a really incredible and entirely unique rugby league player.

But Harry took them to another level. He was the difference IMO, absolutely superb.

Yes he did get his chance with us,otherwise he would have been playing reggies for Melb...and Madge got him to play for the full 80 mins..

Harry is the player he is because of himself and the Storm system.

Yeah, and Bennett turned him into an origin player. Fair dinkum

Do people actually think he played origin because of us? Really?

Think he would of got there regardless but his form in our jersey earned his selection

Correct, if he had played for the spooners he would have been selected.

Harry’s quality injections at dummy-half were no fluke and no accident.
He was our primary hooker but was often used interchangeably, giving him ample opportunity to develop and learn how to explode in bursts and exploit in bursts.

So, tonight, can we credit the Tigers with inventing the rotating hooker (9)?

Cos it seems like it worked?

Did we accidentally stumble out a tactic which might be a NRL game-changer?
