If Harry buys this joint, In 5 years (Just as our kids are coming good) We'll make the Broncos and Rabbitohs look like the Dubbo Cyms.
He would be happy to continue to sponsor us, Has said it many times - He will be there as long as we need him.
What he now wants, Is say over how his money is spent. He doesn't get that from badging.
Even if he gives us 10mil a year, It's up to other people to spend it. That's the bit he'd find hard to swallow… He wants to see the organisation run properly.
He want's his team, his home ground, his players, his staff and his coach and he has more than enough money to get them....
Any other club in the game would be humbled at the opportunity.
I would assume he want's to firstly buy the team, Then build a permanent home for them - To train and play out of.
THEN - Fill it with the right people to set it up for life... And he's running out of time to do it!!

You have to understand, Under our current model - we simply won't be able to compete. The NRL knows the more money they give to clubs the more money the clubs will spend on talent - Instead of the business model.
Last I heard (Maybe 5-6 years ago) the Dogs get a 4mil a year grant from the leagues club. We have never got that kind of money from 2 Leagues clubs - At any time. And more than likely never will.
We have one of the lowest memberships in the game.
It's not like we're a 1 team town. There's 6+ clubs within a stones throw..

To evolve we need to play with the big boys, To do that we need the big boys money...
Even Ashfield as a stand alone owner, (Which I'm all for if it helps the club) Would struggle to compete with the $$$$ of Penrith, Parra and the Dogs.

We have some of the most attractive "Franchise Players" coming through in the game, We need to capitalise while we can.
So, Harry - Let's put some lipstick on this Pig and turn it into the sleeping giant of Sydney.

No maybe not, I was just trying to say that if it came to it? Money wouldn't be an issue for him if he really wanted to buy the Wests side out and be 100% owner.

Everything in life has a price whether he wants to go to whatever price asked is up to him to decide.

As far as I'm aware as per JV agreement the Wests Group and Balmain were only required to put in funds to make up the operating loss of the Wests Tigers from year to year and could only contribute what the other could afford....

So on that I'm not to sure what Harry would be buying apart from debt..

Something is definitely in the pipeline for Harry to Back out from his Sponsorship at the end of the year and this report coming out.
