Do any of us think that either of these guys will honestly contemplate coming to the Tigers as the first Marquee on their own.

We need to convince three or so Good players to join at the same time.

(Titans, Fafita, Tino etc)

Unfortunately, Gold Coast have the benefit of their location. Lot more appealing than training at Concord.

Gold Coast is a cesspool .....so overrated ...you set up a side on the Sunny Coast .....

I was on the Sunshine Coast 2 Xmas’s ago at my girlfriend’s uncles. Paradise.

Make sure you keep it our little secret Gunners ..keep the tossers at the Goldie

Had my first kiss at Caloundra when I was 13. Still remember her name. That was 56 years ago.

Would be easier exercise for us to find “like for like replacement” with Harry then JAC.
But yea ..... as far as I can see .... both birds have flown .... away.
So time to move on.

Hypothetically Harry fore sure.
But I'm keen to see how Lidz and Simpkins fare next season. Good chance we may not need Arry if those two kick on.

Ideally that would be the case and money could be spent on more glaring needs...

We've got two great hookers now. We don't have genuine pace. Easy answer.

This is the way I see it. I also don't have any hope that we can pick up either of them.

I'd rather us look to develop good young players.

I was very pro throwing everything at Harry, but believe that ship has well sailed, even more now after his origin performance.

Cam Smith to titans for a year, then into a coaching role.
Perfect for him, storm are setup with BSmith / HGrant. Good chance Bellamy will end up at GC as well after his year in melbourne.
I think ideally he would of wanted to play 1 more year at the storm

What reason would Bellamy have for going to the Gold Coast? Brisbane yes, can’t see him ending up on the GC. I think Smith will be at the Broncos if he plays on. What he said about not wanting to cost the club Harry or B Smith confirmed to me his time as a player at the Storm is up.

Finally someone listening ....Bellamy will take up the position of coaching director at Brisbane ...Cam will become asst coach and will become head coach 2023 ...Cam will play at brisbane in 2021

I think the Grant to Tigers option is still live. If Smith was retiring, he would have done it already. This delay is a ruse to get Grant and B Smith comfortable with the idea. I would prefer Harry over both Smiths at 9.

There's an article on News.com.au today stating Cam has already advised this week he has played last game for Melb however there's speculation circling that Titans for a year is a real option given he has just bought a rainforest retreat in the GC hinterland.

I have heard the place he bought on the GC is for his parents .....

Brisvegas - been here 22 years from the Gong. Moving back to the dirty south next year to semi-retire near Coffs. Looking forward to fishing, motorcycle rides, growing veggies (I mean veggies not other things), playing/ learning guitar and kicking back some more.
Really enjoyed Brisbane - kids grw up here - great city but can't do some of the things above that I really want to focus on now I'm nearing 60.

Anyone who says JAC over grant, pass whatever you smoke. Grants a generational player and we should be making a stupid offer for him from 2022 regardless of what happens next season

What rubbish. There plenty to like about the gold coast. I do agree however that the sunny coast is a great place too.

Harry Grant but won't happen. More chance of Cronk and Smith kissing and making up. Storm reunions must be awkward

Agree Cam Smith to Broncos in 2021 before joining coaching ranks.

The bulldogs have signed a hooker from Melbourne for 2022 fingers crossed it’s not Grant
