Has there been a worse captain than Woods?

Not only should he not retain his captaincy this season, he, like Moses, should not be picked in First Grade. You can't come out and say that about the club you are still playing for. He is a disgrace and an embarrassment, to himself and the club. It's just a shame we don't have anyone we can replace him with.

Any chance we can organise an early release with the Dogs if they give us someone in return?

No. He can hardly string two words together and most of what he says is bagging the club out and refusing to take responsibility for his own actions.

He is a hypocrite and the sooner he leaves the better. Is like he is trying to talk recruits out of coming so we are left with 2nd rate players next year and he can talk up how he has carried the club.

The "poor Aaron" stories in the paper recently talking about how he has carried the pack for the last 8 years and begged for help are a slap in the face for guys like Ava, big Keithy and others that have shouldered the dirty work while he hides a couple of passes wide of the ruck.

If he was able to dominate the contest, he would have not ended up in the position he did last night or injured as a result.

Yep….How is he anyway, must be devastated to miss the test and perhaps origin

Nobody trashes your own team mates like he just did no matter what the circumstances

Can't wait for the Kennel to latch on next year.

Didn't Scott Prince do something similar?

Bag out the club?? I don't recall that.

No, that's not what I meant. I meant didn't he leave the club when they were in a tough situation while he was captain?

He copped it from fans but went about it all fairly well…. Though he felt the need to attend post match pressos with a couple of bidyguards

Never understood the Prince hate really.

He was a QLDer who came down here and won a comp as our captain. Then went home. They all do.

Job well done.

Cant belive the club can let him stay on as captain it is just another really poor decision if they dont axe him. Its an insult to all the supporters really.

He complained about not being contacted for 3 weeks, as captain you would think he would try to find out himself what was going on. Is he a child?

I agree , find it a bit amusing.
Must be some new technology that stops mobile phones and land line phones, both make and receive phone calls, and stops people from asking questions or writing on paper :unamused:
Did not know hat his arms and legs were painted on. Stopping him approach west tigers management and knocking on their door. :crazy

Woods was a poor choice (probably chosen partly for the wrong reasons) and not my cup of tea. In fact it's been a while since we had a captain that I really thought was the goods.

I like a captain who does his talking both with words and leading by actions. I like them to lay down the law in a positive manner when it is needed (like behind the posts). Not a big fan of a captain giving massive sprays all the time but occasionally it is required. Not a fan of the death stare captain either.

I like a truly inspirational leader. Do we even have someone who can do all that?

Strung the club along and then finally decides to leave once it was too late for our club to sign a decent replacement for him. Dog act.
Prince left in a low manner IMO.

No…none.

He has been absolutely a hoax. Assumed no responsibility, took no control, set out to look out for himself whilst things were difficult. Lied to fans, led other players astray, did nothing to try and steady the ship, avoided any responsibility to gather the troops together during adversity. Spoon fed Hooper and co, whilst avoiding Cleary. Could not even man up when asked to do so...

IMO his ONLY defense is that he is, literally, an intellectual midget.

It all may have just been too much for him to cope with. Absolutely hopeless.

CNX….I could not have summed it up better....agree with you 100%

Poor choice from Taylor. He was Probably hoping captaincy would encourage Woods to stay. But Aaron's immaturity and selfishness has made both he and Taylor look stupid.

Woods' injury has one positive… he'll be replaced as Captain by someone who is committed to WT.

Don't think it would of been JT's decision, the board would have made the decision I would say. It was a very poor choice as we all now know.

Has really let himself and the Club down…I do not believe for 1 second he has had no contact from Club management especially since Cleary's arrival and comments in the press...

it is what it is I guess...
