95% of the posters on this forum are full of it and deep down haven't moved on. They say they only care about the best interests of Wests Tigers only but in reality they don't.
They will defend there previous dead club even if they are totally wrong and living in the past.

Well their is about 4000 of us now Staks

Are you going to break us into individual categories

You can start with me first if you like

You have a special special category all of your own happy

I reckon 'acceptance' and the definition of it is different for everyone.

Some here make it obvious their prior allegiance (sigs, avatars, usernames) but that does not mean they havent accepted the JV.

Others its difficult to know if they had a prior allegiance….some do some dont

Others agian its clear theyve trouble separiting the past and present

And some are stuck firmly still in the 90s or earlier

Thanks for seeing me that way Ink ,hope your not trying to hit on me again

I think it comes down to how well you can move on

Loved the Maggies , but am smart enough (despite what some think ) to realize if we were still the Magpies or Balmain we would be dead separate entities

So I have moved on to bigger and better things and have never looked back and thought "What if …..."

I just heard us being called Western Suburbs….and the world didn't end. Where are the diehards who keep a tally of this sort of thing?

Takes a Wests/Magpies inspired appearance to get the commentators to acknowledge the presence of Western Suburbs Magpies in WT..

Ray Warren has called WT Balmain in the first 2013 LO game, Brian Fletcher called WT Balmain on fox few weeks ago, Dean Ritchie says Woods is the first Tigers player to play since Elias & Roach.. Spiritual home of Leichhardt.. Black & Gold army… Etc etc etc

Its the media that contributes to a muddled WT brand and that leads to debate and frustrations within the fan base including such threads as this..

I love and accept WT... I just cant stand WT & Balmain being portrayed as 'one in the same' - brand, history and identity with Wests legacy being left in the scrap heap that pops its head up now and then in a heritage game.

Get your mention, your fair share, you know all the code talk for "mention my old club more!".

How is it going to be one club going forward when people keep personal tallies of commentators mistakes, then blame it on the club?

You are the sort of fan factional board member are playing too.

I said the MEDIA not the Club.. WT does try to be equal.. its the media portrayal and general public perception of the 'issue'.

Sorry, had you mixed up with someone else about blaming the club for commentators mistakes.

Tigpies until I die, All this speculation about Wests and Balmain makes a shit season even shitter. :crazy

I am very defensive about Leichardt oval though. I support the JV and think it's a better football team than either side ever was alone, but I would be upset if I couldn't watch a few games a season at Leichardt.
