So Milky absolutely every other Bulldogs player who agreed to submitting a DNA sample was considered a suspect but Hazem was the only non-suspect? Wow that seems a bit odd. A good lawyer can spin enough BS to supposedly justify anything, OJ Simpson being a case in point.

I think you have it the wrong way around.
Im guessing only the players that were suspects were DNA tested….it says Hazem wasnt a suspect

But in my previous post I quoted Steve Price from his book saying that Hazem was THE only player that refused a DNA test. Not sure how many of the others were actually tested but all of them bar El Masri agreed to a test. That alone seems a bit dodgy to me. We wouldoprobably have to Google the Coffs incident to see how many players were actually tested.

Terribly sad if true.

He was one of the shining lights to come out of the horrendous Bulldogs' Coffs Harbour debarcle.

Really, he refused to give a DNA sample. Not saying he had anything to hide, cos i'm sure he had done nothing wrong, but the arrogance to think he was above giving a DNA sample soured me off of him

Edit: FTB already pointed this out.

Yeah…I dunno

Milky quoted Chris Murphy...no link though....Id be inclined to go with his version than prices

I dont know why any players would need to provide a DNA sample if they wernt suspects...Might try googling later to see who was named though I dont think any players were specifically named...just a group of 6

Regardless, no one was charged, no one was guilty of any rape, gang rape or otherwise, there was one on one consensual sex between the complainant and a player…end of story

I think the way Chris Murphy has behaved today is reprehensible. Save it for court, not the media

Poor form from Murphy, but I can understand why he did it. The court of public opinion will be real adjudicator here, for better or worse.

Well everyone is innocent until convicted.

Lets look at El Masri…...he has always been a clean skin, always came across as a decent person. Nothing to suggest he was every violent or supported violence towards women.

WE dont know his current partner but her behaviour seems a little off....something just does not seem right ATM.

On that basis, can you imagine if we all treated him as guilty only for him to be eventually found completely innocent????

Talk about ruining someones reputation.

He's always been outspoken, and generally comes across poorly IMO. Let the evidence do the talking.

Murphy is arranging a football team of VIPs to swear that Hazem is not that type of guy. Decades ago Jack Mundy got off swearing charges against police using the same tactic.

I was prepared to accept that the charges are probably baseless and meant to embarrass and make life difficult for ElMasri…...

And then he hired Chris Murphy.....

Murphy is the Phil Rothfield of the legal world - a dirt digger who makes a lot of noise, but lacks class.

"journaists'" job is to serve the society- inform them, educate them.

lawyers' job is to serve the individual. if i was wrongly accused of something, i'd do whatever i could to get out of it. class or no class.

FWIW i have a cop mate who is a mad bulldogs supporter who's opinion is that he is a grub of the highest order based on 2nd hand privileged information. This should in no way imply his guilt or innocence regarding the matter as neither of us know.

I don't like the bulldogs. That is fact, however irrelevant.

I still have trouble believing this.

No trigger or experience, I just have a feeling he's being screwed over.

Yeah I guess the media has convinced us all he's a nice guy - he has certainly come across that way, but let's face it, none of us really know these people. How many times have you heard people say about their friend or neighbour, _I thought he was a really good bloke - I would never have thought he would be capable of murdering someone!_

I never said I had any concrete evidence to suggest otherwise, I just had the feeling he wasn't being given a fair go, that's all.

He could well be a spanner, I don't know…
