Brisbane have a stack of money

qoute ABC report

"Having previously put forward a reported $350,000-a-season offer to Hunt and, with skipper Darren Lockyer understood to have agreed to a pay cut in his new two-year deal, the Broncos could have some dollars to throw at Hayne"

+the axing of Clinton, Sims, Teo & ….....

overall they could put an offer to good to refuse in he NRL

Parra need to secure him long term like the Tigers have done with Farah and Marshall, the Storm have done with Slater, Smith, Cronk and Inglis, and what Canberra are looking to do with Campese. They sign these guys long term and build the team around them. Parra are goneskies if Hayne leaves.

I don't think Hayne will leave parra for the broncos. As for the raiders with campese I think they need to offer a maquee player to help him and get him to sign a deal which will see him play his career with them. As he is there only marquee player and most other club have 2-3 marquee players.

Is Hindmarsh no longer marquee? And they have Tahu returning next year, don't they?

How the hell could Brisbane stay under the cap with Lockyer, Hodges, Falou, Hunt, Wallace, Thaiday and Hayne? all rep players, and some on 400k plus.

Hunt will be gone. Locky would get long term concessions, and the rest of the side is pretty ordinary.

In saying that, Easts last year offered Thaiday a heap of cash and reports were he stayed with the Bronco's for exactly half of what he was offered by the Roosters. Now that is astonishing.
