and what about keating being cleared on what was a clear as day chickenwing
 
well who didnt see this coming, fair dinkum. well it opens the door for dirty play next year, no one should be charged with higher then a grade one contrary conduct for leading with the knees/feet.

Gibbs & merritt have every right to be p!ssed

Gibbs should appeal again if kneeing a player is no longer a drama. That way he can start the year without any suspension games still to serve.
 
I thought Hayne would be cleared, only because i always thought Bryce Gibbs was stitched up by the media, no way should he have got suspended an eight point try should have been his only penalty.

Keating I thought would have been charged, I thought that they would make him the sacrificial lamb for Hayne

I hope the storm smash them this week.

The reason I'm so peeved is that.....no doubt in my mind Bryce Gibbs would have been the difference against the Gold Coast....we would have won that game and we would be where Parra are right now....

well dont finish 9th and you would have that chance, Hayne prob got off as he had like .5 of a sec to react and made the wrong choice and payd the penalty on field.

Gibbs was just a stupid move for no reason whatsoever and should have been suspended and thats coming from someone that likes the way he plays but there was no reason to knee someone in the back after they had allready clearly scored

How did he pay the penalty on the field? He KO'd an opposition player, he finished the game while the other player is effectively out of the game and then less than 48 hours later he is told there is no dramas and you are free to play next week.

Goodwin had scored. There was no way even an 'NRL GOD' :laughing: like Hayne could stop it. He should of received the same penalty as Gibbs.
 
Hayne is the flavour and pin up boy of the moment.
does anyone really think he was going to be missing the game.
out of curiousity watch how he always raises his elbow, when he has the ball, and is about to be tackled.

you call him an NRL God but isn't that what benji was being called in 05…. no one had problem back then....

Thurston got off, Soward got off, so Hayne got off thats basically how it worked. But hey people may say he should be suspended or not but you got to believe it makes this final even better

Two best fullbacks in the game today a team that is exciting to watch against a team full of superstars kind of like 05 Cowboys were favs and tigers the underdogs that played exciting football, Benji vs Thurston now its Hayne Vs Slater or Mortimer vs Finch
