i can't imagine it either.

well he is on 300k/year for 3 years at the moment. when he signed he was only guarunteed 100k, they could scrap him at any point and only owe him 100k.

and right now hes on the practice squad, so hes not even a 'rookie' that would get that 500k.

in comparison, he would have earned a mil in the NRL incl. rep payments, i reckon the NRL would have chucked him a couple hundred grand to keep him too.
