My memory is that Wests Campbelltown didn’t want to keep paying 10 percent of the bills back when the Football club was broke … i don’t recall them and HBG having specific issues … Maybe I’ve just forgotten .,,it was a long time ago….

HBG took it down because the 3 independant board members who were removed lawyered up and took offence to HBG saying they had issues in communicating.

The NRL must consider whether the WTs under existing arrangements is the entity capable of carrying forward its aspirations for the South West growth area to be the flagship of league. The potential is enormous but we need men and woman with drive and vision to work as a team to make league the number one sport for boys and girls in the growth areas. Richardson, councils in the inner west and Campbelltown plus Benji all contributed to stadium upgrades, the new COE with UWS and improved off field performance. Mr PVL, make the correct call and take back the license and administer the WTs until a new owner can be identified with the drive and vision to make WTs fulfill its potential.

They were very disparaging and slanderous comments made against the independents which could have damaged their professional reputations.

It’s also completely absurd as well given HBG had two reps on the board, one of which is their chairman.

There’s really no coming back from the comments and rationale they gave. It was a weak as piss reason to sack the independents, shows a complete inability to manage or resolve (alleged) issues by HBG, and how out of touch and deranged the debenture holders and HBG board members are.

The fact that HBG have cited communication issues as a reason for sacking the independents, and not notifying the independents of being sacked before briefing the media is the pinnacle of hypocrisy.

Having said that …I can’t imagine Richo walking away with a seven figure payout …then returning to the club to be an NRL administrator?

That's the other thing that's being forgotten, there's nothing stopping the state govt through their tools such as liquor and gaming enforcing change. Reason being they have committed tens of millions into stadium upgrades that apparently the owners don't want. What's stopping local and state govts from just pulling the stadium funding.

I could, it would be the best middle finger to HBG he could give. He walks after taking 2 million off them then returns to run the club he was forced to leave that HBG were forced to sell. Free money.

Come off it Ink - you, i and everyone on this forum know that most of the users of those magpie facebook pages are extremely pro magpie and have been hurling abuse at any balmain related issue for years. I could go on pro balmain facebook pages and find just as many nut cases doing the same thing to anyone who mentions the magpies.

Nah …. Not true . I don’t even think there is any . The distinction is there is no Balmain to support , let alone run a page for . The fact the magpies have kept the candle burning in lower grades . Means these fools have a glimmer of hope , and the desperation is reeking off every word they say.
BALMAIN DOES NOT EXIST ANYMORE FFS!!!!! How many times and in how many ways do you need to be told the same thing .
