If Barry O'Farrell is the best choice- that's fantastic news.

It's interesting that O'Farrell would agree to work with HBG again. It would seem unlikely he would do it under duress. Maybe some home truths were meshed out between the two parties?

Nothing changes my stance that people are reacting like they 'know' more than they actually do. Even now- there's been 3 or 4 theories being treated as fact.

None of the things I've said about HBG have changed.

None of the things I've said about how I want the club to be have changed.

People trying to take shots at me...hasn't changed. 😀

And I still don't know anything- other than how to cut & paste now.

After reading the embarrassing attempts at logic by those puppets of HBG on this forum, may I suggest that the erstwhile controllers of this excellent vehicle for mostly sensible conversation, take a less generous tolerance to their bile. I for one, would like to see them banned for life and indeed in other times people like this where dealt with in the appropriate manner. I know that public floggings and the occasional guillotining is frowned upon these days (more the pity) but I think there is a very strong case for this in such dire times. For your consideration.

But what IS interesting is that it appears to be perfectly acceptable for a large number of people to join in on a mob mentality of 'pick on the weaker number' if the opinion doesn't exactly match the company line.

Call people what you like, if they don't agree with the majority.

In fact, make an open suggestion to ban those posters for having a contrary opinion.

And nobody calls it out.

You're trying to offer an obscure viewpoint to people that have had their club systematically destroyed over a 10 year period. Maybe you're super chilled about everything, but I know you're smart enough to realise that you'd be in the minority.

All this at a time when the latest balls up is not only fresh, but developing and getting more outrageous with every news report.

if you were expecting people to engage in a rational and unemotional way to a contrarian viewpoint, that some may argue was stirring the pot, then perhaps you need to lower your expectations a little.
