I will bet you $100 that HDB won't revert to the prior independent structure, without serious pressure from fans, regulators, and the NRL.

I'd say it's in the HBG number. Effectively same thing.

It's very possible.

But we don't know for sure.

It should have been a question asked, demanded...by people in positions to get answers.

We are happy for people to talk about the club falling apart, insiders giving this & that info etc.

Who asked HBG- now what do you plan to do about the independent board spots?

A rally has been organised.

But HBG could have been on the spot the next day if the right questions were asked.

Seeing as we are answering questions with questions, who is the majority shareholder of Wests Magpies?

Once you work that out, then let's talk.

The bye round podcast? Sen league? Triple M NRL...

If everyone then did it in every game following, it'll stay relevant..

The media has been the Wests tigers fans enemy for so long... It's been tough. But we are in a position to weaponise them against the HBG and apply the blow torch.. it may never work.. but it also may just have the desired impact over time...

It would appear so. Or an oversight by whoever reported it.

That said- I imagine not EVERY Wests Magpies board member is simply a HBG yes man/woman.

People might not get a vote on the HBG representation.

I bet they get a vote on Magpies representation though.

1 of the 5 will likely be a Wests Magpies Rep. It's just semantics though as the HBG control the Wests Magpies as well.

I blame HBG for this.

We as fans are only bystanders. Yet this club is something we care about deeply.

We have no say, the board was fired. We are not given the real reasons, so we have to guess.

Wests Tigers is something we deeply love. Heck I too believe all people involved in this love the club (with bad motives, but still love the club). It hurts to have something we love wrecked like this and that's why we are trying to find the reason.

The HBG is a dysfunctional mess, that is constantly backstabbing, why would anyone trust an answer they provide?

The HBG have 4 seats on the Wests Magpies board with 3 being voted on by the Wests Magpies footy members.

It's all on their website. Here it is verbatim.

WSDRLFC (Western Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club Ltd)

WSDRLFC has 7 members on its board of directors.
- 4 x Directors appointed by Holman Barnes Group
- 3 x Directors directly elected in 3 year terms by eligible Wests Magpies FC members

Leo was appointed...

There are also 2 member elected positions on the HBG board. Ask cochise what happened to those guys.

What is the breakdown of the Magpies board though?

Is it possible that an 'independent' Magpies board member takes the spot?

I'm not stupid enough to think the board isn't loaded. But maybe that is the compromise from PVL?

4 x HBG
1 x Wests (not HBG aligned)
1 x Balmain
3 x Independent

It's still a majority government, but to get the majority isn't as simple. Or is there still a chance a 4th independent comes in?

They were there. They know more than us. They interviewed everyone on all sides. Probably investigated more than PVL did yesterday I'd say. What do you say to that?

I say they had very good information to reach their outcome at that time.
I find it hard tj believe they would have more information than what PVL has in regards to this current situation ?
I could be wrong, but that’s how I’m seeing it right now.
