HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

My wife was having a sneaky look over my shoulder when she asked who the guy was with the long blonde hair, so I told her it's Denny Burgess.
She said I have heard you mention his name many times so now I have seen him and he's pretty good looking.
She then said "I've heard you mention the name Cochise a few times as well, what does he look like"?
My reply was "he's even better looking Imo".

Fair question from her, so how about we have side by side photos followed by a vote as to 'who the better looking is'.

My wife didn't agree with you.

Justin Pascoe was allowed to choose extremely ordinary hair cuts.

And sometimes, when the whim took him, he'd go on holiday mid-season & watch Tigers games in remote locations.

HBG didn't pull him up on that. In fact, I think they enjoyed his quirkiness.

Other than that though- I think we need to be fair. Either 1 of 2 things is true. Either Pascoe was a terrible CEO making wildly foolish decisions, OR he was completely under the control of HBG & was victimised for decisions he really had no part in.

We can't accuse him of both if we want to believe HBG didn't allow him any freedom.
The answer is; whoever came up with the idea - Wild Wests: Tales from Tiger Town - and whoever approved it. Match made in heaven really.

Have I missed any good news today? Or we still in the same pile of shit we were last time I checked
Only that an extremely fit Royce Hunt will be a better value prop than Leo Thompson is 2026.
Wests Tigers have 3 halves all better players than Lachlan Galvin in 2026.
The Bulldogs are getting a reputation for using players up and spitting them back out, team harmony could become an issue.

How about the truth of both being complete imbeciles one taking more money than he can achieve anywhere else. The other not caring a complete fuk except for there own agenda

I’ve been a long-suffering Magpies and now Wests Tigers fan for a long time. It’s pathetic that small-minds can do their best to sink an NRL club due to ego.

You don’t have to be a genius to figure out who might be behind this. Same playbook. Whistleblower complaints (one against Rick Wayde and O’Farrell if memory serves). Legal threats. And egos with little to no experience in high performance business or sports management.

Just look back to news articles from last December. This is from the SMH on the 27th December:

“Romero sent an email to O’Farrell on July 14 and copied in a number of key stakeholders, including a member of the HBG human resources team and a legal representative from Clayton Utz law firm.
The email raised a number of concerns over issues at the Wests Tigers, including the appointment of Enrichd – the company part-owned by Richardson and his son Brent – to conduct a marketing review of the club.”
