HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

A big part of the reason the fight is on is that you feel insecure.
And I can understand that.
You feel like you are losing your miniscule grip in the JV.
I understand that as well.
But y'all have to face facts.
Wests Magpies hold a major share of the JV.
But y'all 'not' facing the facts so you are fighting back in an attempt to gain more control.
I believe whoever the organisers of Saturdays march are, are probably the most insecure of all, and they are taking out their frustrations on the people that are providing the $$$ to keep WTigers functioning.
As @Joel Helmes is a health care professional, I'm interested to hear what he has to say in regard to this.
Stop with the word salad, you've provided years of Magpies insecurity, bull and fallacies, your mate loathes to even say he word 'Ttttttttttttt', I'm sure it pains him on the very few occasions he's had to utter that dirty word.

And for the record the NRL provides most of the $$$ that keeps the Wests Tigers functioning, 18M to be precise, HBGs portion is minuscule compared to the NRLs input and pales into insignificance when you look at the way they run the club and their continual boardroom backstabbing, they are not fit operate a to1let block.

I’ll say the ones making the calls now are not in favour of the idea of an independent board …
It's possible. Again, I'm too far removed from what actually happens to say.

If you, or anyone else here, is closer & can clarify it- fantastic.

But if you get your information the same as I do, it's all speculative.

No im not closer …it’s an opinion ..just as you are putting forward but the opposite …. I’m basing mine on previous actions / and prior observations though ..

Because HBG magpies are trying everything to ruin our F team, you just don't get it, starting to think the rumours are true and you are a moron.
HBG MAGPIES are not "trying everything to ruin our F team".
Strange, as I didn't know we had an F team though.
An NRL team and a NSW Cup team to just name a couple.
But an F team, never heard of it 😆.

"Fighting back in an attempt to gain more control".

Wests magpies are not the issue.
Wests magpies have their own issues amongst themselves right? Otherwise why aren't Wests McArthur part of the JV?

The sooner you realise this is an issue with HBG not being fit to run our footy club, the better.

I'm originally from the Balmain side (barely cause I'm near 40)... But I would welcome Wests McArthur with open arms

So I will repeat myself...
It isn't an issue with wests magpies.. it's an issue with wests Ashfield /hbg

NRL appointed Board members in 2014 in compensation for covering Balmain's debt. Then HBG bought out the Balmain debt and were permitted to reconstitute the WT Board.
Permitted by the NRL?

So in effect the NRL are partly to blame....due diligence and all that

They owe us and they owe themselves

Well in that case I suggest strongly you change your avatar proudly saying Western Suburbs with a Magpie underneath.
Then even more strongly...WESTS EFF THE REST.
That must mean eff Wests Tigers as well.
Trying to write the rules on user names again and believing you know all and why someone has a particular user name, it's just a user name, it may have a reason, story or history behind it, it may be all they could think off at a time, it's irrelevant, so I will say it again as you didn't understand it the first time, stop trying to score brownie points over someone's user name and/or avatar.

Ripped this straight from the HBG website. Was everyone aware they give Balmain a grant every year as well as being the financial backing of Wests into the JV too? I wasn't.

Also interesting that HBG has mentioned that Wests Tigers cannot be renamed. Seems a strange thing to advertise if the rumours of 'we are bringing back the Magpies' has any credibility..

"In arguably the most important decision in the club’s tumultuous 25-year history, the haemorrhaging Wests Tigers have launched their search for a new chairman with a former Test star the leading contender to claim the position.

This masthead had been told three candidates for the club’s top job are Ben Elias, Leo Epifania and Dennis Burgess."

Are these blokes serious?

Thanks Chad, but we knew that

I think anyone holding out hope of Richo returning needs to prepare themselves for the opposite. I have no mail, but I just can't see him coming back after leaving in such bad circumstances. Vlandys will do nothing in regards to the HBG, other than maintain contact to keep updated on the situation for when he is asked for a comment. He will do nothing and doesn't give a shit about WTs. He cares about his back pocket and growing the game outside of Sydney. This is why I believe Richo won't return. The HBG will run the club into the ground (i.e. Marshall gone next) and try to rebuild it in some way shape or form, it will more than likely fail and WTs, Magpies or Balmain (whatever the team is called) will exist in the NSW cup. The club is in big trouble and I just can't see a good way in which this scenario will end.
