It's been ridiculous for decades now, and by all levels of management, that the inner west became the focus over the south west.
I don't see how that ever gets rectified.

Apparently Wests Cambo want to be reintegrated to wests tigers . Hopefully hating someone in the boardroom should help these people make the right decisions. We can’t move to C town unless they put that 100m into it though . The stadium is simply not good enough , regardless of whether it’s the most ideal location .

What ISNT apparent from the Bulldogs financial report is funding provided TO the football club by the Leagues club. Where this mythical $20m comes from, I dont know. But I cannot see that number anywhere in the Bulldogs report.

What we can see in last years report is the club spent $21m in capital works related to the CoE.

I feel that a board and football club controlled by exclusive debenture holders sounds more like North Korea and this is a revolution to topple the dictatorship that has lurched from one inept decision to another.

They might be good at pokies and schnitzels, but they have absolutely no idea how to run a football club.

But the board isnt controlled by exclusive debenture holders. The floor is allowed to vote from a number of debenture holders to become a director of the club, and a free vote for 2 other members who are NOT debenture holders.

Any member can become a debenture holder, as and when a vacancy arises in the debenture listing.

So no, absolutley nothing remotely similar to North Korea.

As they arent a 100% owner of the football club, they dont offer a consolidated breakdown of the football club.

The only costs attributed to the football club are recored early on in their annual reports where it is mentioned that the Leagues Club provides a Grant tp the Football Club to the value of $1,395,306 in FY 2024

Its interesting you use the bulldogs as an example..

Over the past 2 years they poured close to 13 million into football... HBG gave under 4 million.

You do understand that if HBG invested that amount of money into the wests tigers, the majority of people (including myself) wouldn't give two craps what was happening at HBG - give us the money and let the footy club do their thing..

Not only do HBG not contribute a sufficient amount, they compund it by making stupid decisions that impact the football club that draw attention to them. I dont see that happening at the bulldogs?

Please cite you evidence. Their financial reports seem to not support your statement. Their financial reports dont hightlight what revenues were attributed specifically to the football operations, aside from their investment into the CoE.

Infact in FY24 they spent more money on buying investment properties

I get it, it's dry stuff getting in the way of footy but they are that shit gift you get at Christmas that you can't wait to get exchanged.

Cannot differeniate from their financial reports if Gate Receipts includes season ticket holder (ie match day only). I dont think it does and I think Penrith membership revenues are a consolidation of leagues club members and football club members. If that is the case, the Financial Reports do not disclose how the number is broken down.

Also cannot ascertain from the Penrith Panthers financial reports how much monies was spent on the football club specifically as the report is a consolidated report.

There is an expense simply listed as "NRL" to the value of $1,715,000 which may or may not be a contribution to the football club

According to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 2024 Annual Report, the specific "Direct Football Grant" figures are as follows:

- 2024 Direct Football Grant: The League Club provided approximately $5.5 million in direct funding to the Football Club.

- 2025 Committed Funding: The report explicitly states under the "Economic Dependency" section (Note 29) that the League Club has committed $6,400,000 in grant funding for the year ending October 31, 2025.

So total of 11.9 million over 2 years into the footy club
