To be clear. With this latest development, I'm 100% certain the only way for the club to go forward is to kick HBG out.

If they are able to get their way and rebrand under any other logo, I'm out because that would signal that change is impossible. A club rebrand would be a disaster 25 years on not to mention a continuation of the debenture holders that have held the club hostage for so long.

The point is sone people are going the wrong way about it, you cannot victimise everybody on the HBG board or associated to them for others actions.
DB and maybe one other random are the only ones who have been on the HBG for a long period of time, the others including Epifania are mostly fresh faces who have nothing to do with what’s happened with previous HBG involvement.
The part that gets me is disrespecting former players involved via sssociation. Most of the people being highly critical have no idea that these ex players are trying to right the wrongs and it is naive, uneducated and disrespectful to either not have any idea who they are or still want to attack them for their association with HBG without any knowledge that they have done anything wrong as individuals.

If it was any other administrator at the helm other than V'Landys, I'd say there was no hope of a resolution, but I think he has the balls to do something drastic.

I agree that Richo has too much heart to walk away cold. He will only leave if he sees no way forward, IE HBG has a strangle hold and is within their rights to trash the club. If so, say bye bye to many of the playing group as well.

That’s fair enough and like 95% of Wests Tigers supporters who do not know

I might be in a limited party here, but I don't want to kick HBG out. They've done some good stuff, including bringing the Balmain clubs under their umbrella and they're a great supporter of junior league.

We simply need to have the HBG board up for a vote and keep this separate WT model. That's it. Remove the debentures, make people accountable. Allow people to vote for the best for the HBG board. If that's Dennis after he faces a vote, so be it. I doubt it would be, but if it is, then that's a proper members-based structure.

This current structure should honestly be illegal for a members club.

Totally agree champ, the fighting on this thread is bloody pathetic. I think everyone wants the Wests Tigers to succeed and the vast majority don't want the Balmain or Magpies back, they just want the obviously useless HBG gone and completely independent control of the club put in.
