Just heard a bloke on radio call in to say he was going to Souths Dogs tonite and thought he'd be clever and park at Lidcombe and get the train from there.

No parking anywhere in Lidcombe however, nil nadir nothing zilch zip

If youre goin Monday get the train if you can its free with pre purchased ticket or ANZ games membership card

i parked near redfern for the round 1 game for free cause there was trackwork between my place and anz, and caught the express train in. 10minute drive, 10 minute walk and less than 20minutes on train isn't too bad.

although this mightn't work on monday cause im guessing they'll have those weekday parking limits on. so i'll probably catch the train the whole way.

There's never any parking in Lidcombe anytime though the day regardless of what is on ..Lidcombe has become a very busy inner city suburb.

Hmmm Ive sometimes parked there going to recent Origin matches, near the pool, a pizza at the pub on the southern side of the station then off to the footy

You used to be able to park at Dooleys across the road from the station. I haven,t done it for a few years so the club may have cracked down on it.
