Awesome that he got named at starting centre in our first game of 2026. Haven't been this excited about a young player like this since James Tedesco. I know it was just a trial but what he did against Penrith was outrageous. Masi be bussing.

I wouldn't be concerned at all about another club taking him, he seems like a pretty switched on kid and humble, it will be returning to Rugby Union that will be the threat as the Tigers will not be able to compete with the money and he is a Union boy. Just enjoy him while we have him in league at the Tigers.

Here we go again - so media reporting Makasini is open to a return to Union after his contract finishes end of 2027. No doubt we will have to put up with this crap for the next 2 years.
