Heighington megathread

How come when a positive point is bought up by "someone's mate" such as "I saw player X at training" everybody rubbishes it. Yet something like this, which is negative to the club is taken as gospel?

Yep I'll believe it when it happens.

My uncles cousin saw Sheen's and Humphries talking to Slater the other day. Apparently a brown paper bag was passed under the table.

Just spoke to a friend of mine who is a Tigers supporter, he saw Phil Gould having a coffee with Heigno in Parramatta today.

What a great signing he will be for Penrith. Well done Sheens….......who loses a great clubman in good form? In fact, who makes a great club man actually want to leave?

This is a guy who has only ever wanted to be a Tiger since he was brought to the club. He has turned down more money elsewhere to stay here. He has turned his poor form around through his dedication and commitment. He leads by example and does whats best for the club and his teammates.....and now he wants out. Take your rose coloured glasses off Sheens lovers, surely even you guys can see something is wrong with this scenario.

So a guy on this forum says his friend saw Phil Gould having coffee with Rhino and you've got him shipped off already???? Let's wait for something a bit more concrete before you unleash your disgust for Sheens. We don't even know if they actually met!

someone else may have already said it, but you realise they are also both employees of channel 9?

This is a misleading thread name. Didn't someone suggest that these sorts of thread are clearly tagged as: Rumor - …............

whats with the thread name? you see the title and the first thing you think is that he's signed with Penrith. As weststigerman said, terrible thread name

Members come up with the thread names GNR.

If you have an issue with a thread name, PM a mod and raise your concerns.

I think it's been adjusted now.

This would have to be the weakest excuse for a rumour yet… Someone's friend reckons he saw Phil Gould talking to Chris Heighington. So we don't know they even met or assuming they did, what they were talking about. Also apparently this meeting wasn't noticed by anyone else... As Gus himself would say: "Wow!"

Mate.
Its not impossible is it?
As for not being noticed by anyone else…well theres really not that many of us here.
I dunno what people get for starting false stuff if they do?
But like you I always wait for the official word.

could it be that its as simple as Hino asking Gus Gould a former origin coach, what is needed of Hino to be in contention for or picked to play origin.
.

^^^
This. Particularly given Sticky and Gould's relationship. Good move.
