Nope, Heighno's manager has denied it and he is signed to the end of 2013.

Dont know personally, if it is true i guess you can take it as no club wanted Gibbs, Fulton and Moltzen. If the club lets Heighno go they seriously have rocks in there head he is our most/only consitent player heard/read on another forum cronulla would take Gibbs and Fulton but only if we payed a considerable amount of theyre contracts.

Well if he keeps showing last weeks form he will be worth more than Blair on the open market . Tell em their dreaming , he going nowhere .
 
Doubt this one highly. The rumour has probably been generated to justify how the Tigers will afford Blair.

On this basis, do we realistically need to release any other players to fit Blair into the cap? With McKinnon gone, Payten likely to retire before or at the end of this year, players like Daniella and Moors likely to be released, Salary cap concessions from our longer serving players and possibly a few 3rd party concessions through some connections of Harry - I think we can afford him easily.
 
I agree with harry rhino will go no where, mckinnon going, moors will be going, payten could retire, flannagan back to england, & maybe daniella gone & concessions i think we could have money over.
 
With the developments on Gibbs and Fulton being given permission to shop around and McKinnon finishing up this year, I'm not surprised the media hasn't grabbed more names.

The rumour mill is getting out of control.

What on LU? Here we go again with another unsourced, unsubstantiated rumour floated by some anonymous poster. Yeah Rhino's leaving because Tim Sheens ran over his dog. It's true, someone on LU said so…
 
Gibbs in rugby league week said he doesnt wat to leave the tigers & doesnt like any of the other teams & still has a three year contract after this year, humphries also said that if gibbs didnt want to go that was o.k as well. Work all this out if you can. :crazy
 
most of the media just trolls these forums and then writes about em.

As if any club or player manager would call the Tele and tell em whats really happening.

Rhino a Tiger for a lot more years.

People should be a lot less gullible…

It wouldn't surprise me if the same "journos" planted the stories in the first place.

Based on that, I think either its Gibbs' manager wanting to get him a better deal somewhere else, or someone is telling lies. This is all assuming both Gibbs and Humphreys were not misquoted.
 
People keep saying if we release Moors Daniella and a few others we will have plenty of room to move with our cap. It dosnt work that way, you have to have 25 contracted players and theirs a minimum contract. So we cant release four contracted players and replace them with one and I think you will find Moors and daniella are on a basic contract with incentives.

Anyway do you really think the club would be allowing players to check their market value if we did not have cap problems???? and of course the vultures are circling are our young talent, so the will need a upgrading.

Not a easy job trying to get the right mix and balancing the books
