Someone explain the logic...

We have young centers who desperately need games at center.
We have a young winger who needs to develop combos with them.
We have nothing to lose / season done...

PERFECT game to play Talau or Hoffman...

And...
We play Lawrence.

That just killed all faith I had left.

It makes no sense on every level right now and even less looking at 2021.

He might do a good job when he gets the team he wants but he’s been very disappointing with existing players. Holbrook and Payten have shown you can improve a team without needing to completely change the roster.

Holbrook has put in structures, added an organizing half, shifted Taylor away from the play making and got their pack defending as a unit. Blooded several players with a view to 2021.

We have regressed massively and done nothing to fast track some combos for 2021.

Spot on and honestly I don’t think our roster is as bad as everyone makes out either, it’s certainly better on paper than the Titans or Warriors.

To think a coach could turn around the worst team in the comp in less than 4 or 5 years is ridiculous.

Mate, let's just stop blaming the roster...Dogs are worse. Titans are worse. Warriors have hand me downs...Sharks had 8 Newtown players recently in their top 17...please, just stop the easy option. We have been terrible for two straight months. Even really poor teams...really, really, poor teams historically...man up and have a good D performance once a month. We have had nothing. I can't just keep saying 'blame the roster'.

There 'should' have been tangible improvement in at least some areas. There has been nothing.

And if they do it will come with a big pay cut

Too many of our supporters have blinkers on and your obviously one of them

We get rolled week after week Month after month Year after year

Time to give the coach the chance ( which make take many years) the chance to prove if it is the players or the club itself as it can't be the coach as we ve already tried that many coaches and nothing has changed so wake up and give him a chance

We had the storms at one stage when we bought them back to our standard and we still ballsed it up

I said the exact same thing to EB ...we dragged teh Storm kicking and screaming to our level

Truth is, we aren’t any better than we were under JT and Potter. And yeah, Taylor haters can get narky if you want, but you know it’s true.

We were playing better under Taylor, and I hated Taylor.

The game plan was fine . We got behind because of arm grabbing and brain farts in the defensive line . Like Joey twice going in for no reason when it was clear the fullback was getting the ball as it was 3 on 3 . We looked much stronger when Musgrove went out there . At the moment it’s a good josh Aloai run follows by a plodding nothing run by one of our forwards. Also Doueihi tonight once again showed , if he moves to the centre full time he is going to be a real weapon. (Yes I know he played 1 tonight )

Douei is clearly not a fullback, out of position, slow to turn, doesn't run the ball back.He is a good smart center. If JAC came to 1 it would solve a few headaches...

There is not another coach in the competition who has so much money tied up in the wrong players.Until it is rectified we are are going to be handicapped. And please don't bring up JT because his roster at the time would run rings around this one. The one thing I think Maguire can lament is BJ - a risk that hasn't paid off at this point.

But that Benji/ Joey/ Nofa 'corridor' has been open all year and zero adjustments. Nothing.

I’ve said it already . Benji gone , Joey next to brooks and that should go a long way to fixing the defensive issues. But it’s pretty obvious what the issue is . A backrower with a little pace can get on the outside of benji , creating all kinds of issues . And mikaleles arm grabbing , with Garner. That whole side needs new players

Joey ain’t going nowhere
He’s here to stay $$$$

I never said he was. I said move to the other side of the field , next to someone he trusts can make a one on one tackle.
