Help me (and others) keep faith in Madge...

Jason Taylor got two years and was gone three games into his third year because the board said in 2017 no more floggings and mediocrity. I like Madge but the confidence for next year just isn't there for me. Some of those defensive numbers over the past weeks are terrible.

When you see it in writing it really hits home how woeful our defence has become

Yes that’s really dreadful. I just can’t understand why we don’t have any defensive structures in place - isn’t that what coaching and training is all about? Madge is an experienced, premiership winning coach, I don’t understand it.

With the exception of one or two players most of these guys are experienced first graders, how could they not know how to form and keep a solid defensive line? After years of playing in the NRL it’s like they suddenly have no idea or they really just don’t care, despite all the weekly rhetoric to the contrary.

Titans have less and have improved. Even Dogs, with absolutely nothing, put in one good defensive game a month.

I want to believe...but we can't just make excuses.

This is why no extension is required .. get some runs on the board . If he gets another offer see ya get Tooves on the blower !

I meant no other Tiger coaches. I can't recall the last coach we had who went for 30 a week for two months. I am genuinely surprised. I did not expect much this season, but I did expect a team who defended their line with pride.

Baffling.
We leak most our points early in games also.
We all of a sudden wake up and try to play catch ups.
Not sure what’s happened,our discipline is really bad last few months.i always blame refs but we don’t do ourselves any favours
But like you said,madge is a premiership winning coach! Definitely hasn’t coached like one this season

Why do people do that ...lets look at team's and compare them to the high standards that the top clubs set ..not go are we are better than the 14th best side or the 15th best side .....no wonder we are a cellar dweller

Madge is bringing in young talent, bringing in top class coaching staff and looking to sign quality players. Not much else you can do, hopefully our recruitment keeps going good for next season and 2022
