HHHEEEYYYY AHHHHH - SPOILERS

my thoughts on it:

blair should be gone for a week or two for his uppercut alone, the fight had nothing to do with him and he should never have been involved. glenn stewart was ok up until he went at blair when they were walking off, however blair did slow down and face up to him… i dont think glenn stewart should get too much more than a week.

stewart, foran & #14 for manly are gone for sure.. they ran 30m to take on 1 man... if the NRL are the full quid, they are looking at atleast 3 weeks.

Cant argue with any of that.

My take on it:

Blair should be given a medal for his uppercut. ANYONE who belts a Manly player is okay in my book.

Any Manly player involved in rushing Blair in a fair fight should cop four weeks.

Cheers Leroy, yeah wow that was a while ago. I'm sure we'll see comparisons made then on either the Sunday Footy Show or the Roast

When they show the comparisons look closely to whos in the front row watching the 85 brawl
Future Australian cricket captain Mark Taylor

I seem to recall that Taylor was a member of the NSW University team that played the Queensland Uni side as a curtain raiser to the test, a talented all rounder!.

What _should_ happen
Blair: 2 - 3 weeks for the uppercuts on a defenceless man and being 3rd man in
G. Stewart: 1-2 weeks for being 3rd man and as he seemed to instigate the 2nd round
B. Stewart: 12 weeks at least, went in as 3rd man, through a king hit against a defenceless man. Looked very very bad!
Watmough: 4 - 6 weeks for being 3rd man in and attack a defenceless man on the floor
Lussick: 4 - 6 weeks for being 3rd man in and attack a defenceless man on the floor

what about the Storm players that came off the bench? number 14 and 17 I think

from what i saw waqa from the storm was purely pulling players away from the scrap, he wasn't encouraging further fighting… given it was 5 manly players on 1 storm player i personally dont have a problem with his actions... you can't leave a guy laying on the ground right infront of you while people are throwing dog shots... hopefully the NRL use common sense here... if he threw punches or something, sure, but he didnt...

the 3 big suspensions in my opionion will be blair, brett stewart and lassick... they all threw closed fist punches as the 3rd or 4th man in at some point...

im now 50/50 on whether foran will get in trouble.. i've also seen watmaughs name thrown around and as much as i dislike him as a player he didn't do anything.... he ran to the scrap but didnt contribute much to it..

exciting stuff!!

Definitely exciting stuff , the match review committee will be kept busy viewing a lot of footage and trying to make some decisions about what to do.

Brett stewart should get 12 weeks at least, 4 weeks for being third man in and 8 weeks for throwing punches that my 4 year old would be ashamed of. You are a cat schoolgirl Brett.

It would be a joke if any of the bench players get suspended. What were they supposed to do when they see 5 or 6 on one 2 metres in front of them?

I would be happy for that to be the outcome
